Where did I leave off? Oh yeah. So yup, that's pretty much what happened. After I convinced Tobias that it was okay, and the he shouldn't worry or anything, we kinda talked... And kissed... But mostly talked.
And then the bell rang, and yeah. School was over for the day. Yay. Today was an off day for me. A boring day too. Nothing after school planned, and on a Friday!! Coincidentally, all, and I mean all, of my friends were busy. At first it seemed fishy, like something I didn't know about was going on. It was almost like everyone in the school was busy, but me. Odd much? I shrug it off though. I shouldn't suspect my friends are lying to me. I shouldn't if I have no proof, or anything. I need to trust them.
I get on the bus, and see Caleb sitting towards the back, staring out the window. I sit next to him. "What'cha staring at?"
He jumps, realizing that someone was next to him, he looks at me. "Oh what? Staring? No, I wasn't? I mean, I was watching, but not staring? Wait, no, no I wasn't watching! I was- uh- just looking at the school, that's all." he stutters.
"Mhm," I see through his lie. I lean over him and look out the window to what he was staring at. I gasp, "YOU WERE STARING AT SARAH!!" Curious eyes glance in our direction, and Caleb blushes of embarrassment. He shoves me back into my seat.
"Shut up you turd!!" He whisper-yelled at me. The curious eyes broke into laughter, shouting insults and making-fun-of Caleb. I would tell them to shut up, and that only I can make fun of him... But he's tortured me so much that I'm taking this moment and enjoying the sweet, sweet revenge.

I flop down on my bed, and pull out my phone. I dial Christina's number and call her. The phone rings, and rings, until it gets to voicemail. Huh. Odd. Maybe she didn't get to her phone in time. She told me she had to babysit. Its 8:47 right now, and I figure the kid is asleep by now. I call her again.
And we're ringing, ringing... Ringing some more... Voicemail.
This is getting weird. Christina ALWAYS answers her phone. Even to strangers. And her phone dying, isn't an option. Its like she's scared of her phone dying. Once it gets to 50%, she charges it. Weird. Something is going on.
Next, I try Tobias. He said family business, so I'm just going to text him. He has said that he has family business before, and he still has been able to text me. I send him a text, and wait for a reply.
2 minutes. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. 20 minutes.
I sigh. This is useless. But I swear, there is something going on. I go downstairs. Mom and dad are watching TV in the living room.
"Mom?" I ask.
"Yes?"
"Where's Caleb?"
"He's at a party."
A party? Caleb? Invited? What? If Caleb was invited to a party, why wasn't I? "Mom?"
"Yes?"
"Did he happen to say just how many people are going?"
"He said a lot, everyone was invited. I thought you were going."
"OH. Oh..." I say sadly. "No. I wasn't invited."
"Oh, I'm sorry, honey."
"No, it's okay." I go up to my room. I lay down on my bed, and bury my face in my pillow. I check my phone, and see I got a text from Tobias.
Sorrry cant talkk bye -F
Whata? Huh? He never texts like that.
Suddenly it hits me like this:
~list of odd things today~
1) Caleb at a party without me
2) I'm the only one not invited
3) Coincidentally, everyone is busy but me
4) Nobody answering me but Tobias
5) Tobias's odd text
THEY WENT TO A PARTY WITHOUT ME.
EVERYONE.
It's not the part that it's a party that bothers me. It's the part that they ask lied to me about having plans. I would never lie to them unless it would help them, and this doesn't help me.
I scream of anger and throw my phone against my wall, without bothering to check if its okay.

I walk up to the outside of the school and see Tobias and all my friends talking and laughing. The fact that they straight-forward lied to me, and that they are acting like it isn't bad, and how happy they are, causes my face to uncontrollably grow darker. Walking towards them I hear part of their conversation.
"Four! Oh my God! I can't believe you!" Zeke laughs.
"Ha! I know right! She practically begged me." Tobias laughs.
All my friends laugh. Christina pauses, "Wait, what about Tris? Aren't you dating?"
Tobias rolls his eyes. "HA. No. We aren't dating. And who cares? Screw her. Literally or not."
My friends laugh. They actually laugh. They're making fun of me.
When I approach them, they look at me, astonished that I'm even here. My face has a 'drop dead' expression on it. I shove Tobias and scream, "HOW COULD YOU?!" I turn to all of them. "HOW COULD YOU ALL?! YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE BUSY, BUT ALL WENT TO A PARTY!?"
Christina stutters, "Tris,"
"NO. No just shut up. All of you." I turn back to Tobias. "And YOU. You did it?! How could you?!" I scream at him.
He just laughs like the heartless, lust-driven, jerk he is. "Why are you so mad? I mean, like, so what? Who cares?"
"HOW DARE YOU!!" I pause. "Actually, yeah. Yeah, why am I so mad? I mean, we were'nt even together." I say coldly. His face drops. Puh-lease. Typical player move. Well, two can play at that game.
I give them all the finger, then walk to class.
Is it bad I don't feel the slightest bit guilty?
