"TRIS. WAKE. UP."

I gasp and shoot up from... My bed? The dirt... It's gone...

"What?" I ask Christina.

"You musta' been dreaming."

"Oh. Ooh. Okay." That makes more sense. I don't think Tobias would climb a tree that high up, or shove me off to my death, or be so happy about me dying, or bury me alive. Unless he was really mad... No, he still wouldn't.

"How did I get here?" I ask.

"You feel asleep. Like usual." Christina replies in an obvious tone.

"Huh?" I don't remember anything like that.

"Well, you passed out crying on your floor yesterday morning. Something about Four?"

I remember now. I remember the phone call with Johanna, and then hoping that they would find Tobias. And thinking what would happen if they couldn't find him, or what if they did but he was dead.

"Erm. Yeah. It was actually," I say to her.

"What was it about?"

"Uhm... Well..."

"If it's awkward or dirty you don't have to tell me."

"Oka- Wait. WHAT?"

"Oh. Well I was thinking ' what if she had a dream where they did stuff?' And I don't really want to hear details about a dream like that, so-"

"OKAY. I get it. And I didn't have a dream like that. Ew. No. "

"Okay then, what was it?"

I sigh, knowing that denying telling her is pointless. I open my mouth to start to explain the dream to her when my door bursts open.

"I-" a breathless Johanna says. "I think I've found him."

My eyes widen and I shove Christina out of the way. I jump off the bed and fling myself at her.

"Where is he?!" I practically yell at Johanna.

"We got a call from Max. Max said that he's at a warehouse, someone called saying that they heard yelling and a gun go off. When Max went in, he sad three men attacking another. He arrested the three and sent medics in for the victim. When I asked what the victim looked like, he said tall, brown hair and blue eyes."

I gasp when she describes the man. "It's Tobias!"

I look around the room for Chris, since she doesn't know Tobias' real name, but she's gone.

"W-Where is he?"

"In the hospital. We can g-"

"Let's go!!" I scream, running out my room, down the stairs, and out the door, not caring that I'm only wearing a over-sized T-shirt and blue Cookie Monster pyjama pants.

I throw open the car door and slide in, slamming it shut with unnecessary force. I wait impatiently for Johanna.

When she finally comes I silently urge her to hurry up.

When we get at the hospital, I sprint in. I slam into the check-in counter and breathlessly say "Tobias Eaton."

The receptionist looks me over questionably. She opens her mouth to say something, but Johanna cuts her of by holding up her police badge.

The receptionist clicks a few things on her computer, then says "Room 210."

I quickly run up the stairs, dodging nurses and doctors, to the second floor. From there, I run down the halls in search for the tenth room. When I finally find it, I slow down and collect myself before knocking on the door.

A doctor opens, looks at me then frowns. He closes the door, but I stop him. "Please, " I say quietly. He looks up over my shoulder at Johanna and opens the door, letting me in.

When I walk in, I see the worst sight of my life. Tobias lies on as hospital bed, hooked up to multiple cords. I slowly walk over to him, and sit down in the chair next to his bed. I look at his freakishly pale face. He had blood all over, and his head, right arm, waist, and left shoulder are all wrapped up in long cloth bandages. I grab his cold hand with one of mine, and brush the hair out of his face with the other.

"I'll leave you alone for a bit. " The doctor says as he makes his way to the door. "I'm Matthew, by the way. If you need anything, just press the 'help' button, or yell." I nod as he leaves the room.

I turn back to Tobias. I kiss his forehead then his lips. "I'm here," I say. "It's me. Tris." I rub my thumb on cheek, and squeeze his hand gently.

"I love you, Tobias." I whisper. "I love you so much."
