"Aren't you supposed to be depressed or something?" Lynn asks me. My friends crowd around me, wanting to hear what I have to say.
"Actually," I say. "Something great has happened!" I explain everything that happened with Tobias, and they all nod their heads listing intently. I purposely leave out the parts of me kissing him and stuff like that.
"So he's getting better?" Zeke asks urgently.
"Yup." I answer happily.
"Yay!" Uriah squeals. "My little Four won't die."
After Uriah says that Lynn starts backing away. Uriah notices.
"Hey!" He yells to her. "You owe me $25!" He chases after her.

"Babe, come on."
I smirk to myself as I secretly listen in on Caleb's conversation with Sarah. Sarah is his new girlfriend. I don't know how that happened. She's way out of his league.
Caleb pauses, obviously listening to whatever she's saying.
Confused? I'll explain:
At the party, the one I never got invited to, Caleb and Sarah went together. Sarah left to go to the bathroom, and when she came back, Caleb was apparently making out with some random chick.So now Sarah is furious with Caleb and he's trying to get her back, with no sucess so far, though.
"I know, I'm sorry, I swear I am! Please forgive me! Please!"
He pauses again for a few seconds. "No, do-"
He groans. She must have hung up.
I straighten up and open his door, acting like I wasn't eavesdropping on his conversation. "Sup big bro," I say, walking in. I launch myself onto his bed and flop down.
"Sarah left me. She dumped me." He says gloomly.
"Really?" I ask, faking shock. "I never would have guessed."
"Yeah." His face suddenly brightens up. "And you can help me get her back!"
Oh poopsicles. What did I get myself into? I don't want to deal with Caleb and Sarah's relationship! I already have Tobias and mine!
"Aw, come on, Bea! Please help me. Really like Sarah and I'm going to need a girl to help me. Only girls understand other girls. If I tried alone, she would probably hate me forever."
"Oh, fine." I say. "Only this once. And, you have to help me with something, too."
"Deal."
We shake hands, and I get up and walk out the door.
