Aw, who am I kidding. Enough of this denial crap. I admit it. I like Four. There. Said and done. However, I will not admit it out loud, unless someone pushes me too.
Gosh, aren't I stubborn?
Why, yes, yes we are.
"C'Mon Tris! I'm hungry!" Christina yells at me. Right now, we are walking to the mall food court, so Christina can eat. Once we got there we stand at the entrance of the rectangular room outlined with mini restaurants and food stands.
"Where should we go?" I ask.
"Hmm..." Christina thinks, looking at every restaurant. "Subway? I'm in a sandwich mood."
"M'kay." We head over to Subway and wait in the outrageously long line. While waiting, I look around the food court. My eyes rest at a group of people at the opposite side of the room.
"Christina," I say quietly.
"Hmm?"
"Don't look now. Its Four and some of his friends."
"Ooh! Go say hi to your boyfriend!"
"NO! He is NOT my boyfriend. I am single."
"You say that happily."
"I don't need a boyfriend to be happy."
"Good girl. What if he sees us?"
"Drop everything and run."
Once its our turn, I just get a water bottle, while Christina gets her sandwich. We sit down at a table, and I go on Facebook and drink my water while Christina eats her 6-inch sandwich (which is made of Italian bread, ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, mayonnaise and a little bit of mustard).
I have 2 notifications (FarmVille game requests. Ugh), 1 message, and 0 friend requests. I delete the game requests and read my message. The message is from Robert and Susan, from my old school.
Hay Bea! How's it going at ur new school? We miss ya! (BTW this is Susan too) -R
Heyhey! Its going great. Made new friends. Already have some enemies too. I miss you two! -T
Cool. Your not replacing us right? -R
No. Never! -T
Ha okay. Your not replaced either -R
"M'kay, I'm done. Let's go, Tris." Christina says, throwing away the garbage.
"Okay."
Sadly, I g2g. Talk to you later, kay? -T
Sure. Bye -R
Bye -T
I log out and turn off my phone.
"Where are we going?" I ask Christina as we stand and push in our chairs.
"We are meeting Mar, Lynn, and Shauna at Game Stop. Sound good?"
"Yeah okay." I say. As we walk, Four and his friends notice us.
"Hey!" Four says loud enough so we can hear. I frown, sigh, and look at Christina. She shrugs. "What can we do. We tried." I frown even more, as we make our way to them.
"What do you want?"
"My money."
I sigh and turn to Christina. "Can you pay for me?" I ask.
"What?! No. You have money!"
"Uhh." I say. "No."
"I doubt that." She says, seeing through my lie. I sigh defeated and hand Four my money, same does Christina.
