9: Stay

"Well you prepared all of this alone Rena?" asked Jimin as I was setting the table along with Taehyung and Hoseok.

"Tae actually helped me; it's not a big deal"

"No it is, this is very sweet of you" he replied again

"Yes for sure it is, you did this for us and we are really amazed that you thought of this"

"Namjoon really I did nothing, you are the ones who kept me here, besides don't put your hopes up it's not that good"

"Stop underestimating yourself like this, she can cook, she is skilled actually, I remember those courses we took years ago she would always cook delicious dishes" said Jin encouraging me as well, I like it. I like that someone knows about what I can do, someone else other than my own self like it. Sigh.

"Hyung she is actually so cool I just followed her instructions in cooking the rice and she approved of it, and you all know very well I can't even hold a knife, and you know what else" said Taehyung jumping in his place excitedly smiling as he narrated what I directed him to do, he was like an excited small kid telling his parents about what he learned in school today.

"What else Taehyung?" smiled yoongi at Taehyung waiting for him to continue his words

"I helped her in baking the cake as well" he replied with his box smile lighting his face, why is he so excited?

"This is so good Rena, by the way since you are having much fun together why don't you come to work if she is going Tae?" asked Jimin after we all sat down to eat dinner directing only his question to Tae but without look at him.

"Jimin!" said Jin with a sigh looking at Jimin as if he opened a forbidden topic to discuss.

"It's okay, I already agreed with her on that"

"WAIT WHAT?" yelled Jungkook

"What did you both exactly agree on?" asked Namjoon looking at Taehyung for clarification

"If Rena goes to the company then I will be there too" he said

"I didn't actually agree but things just happened" I said swallowing my food which wasn't that bad to be honest.

"So I have been trying for the past 2 years to make you agree to come and you always refused but now it's that easy Tae" said Jungkook with a pout

"It's not that easy, but it's worth tying right?" said Tae and shifted his eyes looking in mine for approval.

However is it really worth it? Is going out in the crowded places, full of loud voices, shouts or even laughter worth trying? Is walking in the streets with people judging you from head to toe worth trying? Let me reform my questions then. Why would I do it? Why don't I just keep myself in y safe zone aside from anything that hurts? I am tired of being hurt but every time I say that it hurts even more. I zoned in my own thoughts for a bit until I recognized that I already placed my spoon back on the table since Taehyung addressed the question.

Taehyung? I promised myself I would try to get him out of his sadness that is still foggy to me.

I nodded my head with a small smile causing him to smile as well, but for the first time he gives me that faint smile, it's not like his usual smiles but a sad one.

Hoseok changed his clothes and told me that he wanted to drive me home. I waved them all good bye and went in Hoseok's car, the weather was very cold, it was freezing.

"Are you sure you want to go?"

"Yes"

"Fine then but expect me daily"
