Walking into Dr.Grey's office, Sevyn is practically glowing as she takes her seat in her normal spot on the soft couch. Dr. Grey smiles and hands her a mug of cocoa, she sits in her usual chair and raises one eyebrow. "Why are you so smiley?"

Sevyn giggles and picks a marshmallow out of her hot chocolate, popping it into her mouth happily. "What do you mean?"

"Well your smile is wide enough to reach your eyes, something must have happened today." Dr.Grey places her clipboard on her lap and pulls a pen from her pants pocket.

"Jackson and I are back together." Sevyn says, looking down at her cup demurely. A warm blush spreading on her cheeks.

"Oooh," Dr.Grey nods understandingly. "So tell me everything." She leans in with a smile like a gossiping teenage girl. Sevyn is more than happy to run her mouth about getting back together with Jackson. The only person she told about it was Monica who could already tell something good happened by the way she came into class beaming like a lightbulb.

Once all the pieces have fallen together, Dr.Grey chuckles. "I'm so happy for you Sevyn, you've made such great process this past month and I'm really proud you're maturing so efficiently." Sevyn smiles appreciatively and sips her steaming cocoa. Dr.Grey adjust herself on her seat, "I remember the best relationship I've ever experienced. Do you care if we have a quick story time?"

"Of course not," Sevyn says. The more time she spends here the more she can put off her homework.

"Well I was working as a waitress at Friendlys and this gorgeous man walks in. He asks for a monster ice cream, the mint flavored one with Reese ears. So I get it for him and he gives me a fifty dollar bill, telling me to keep the change. Mind you the ice cream was only seven dollars and fifty cent. He tells me that he knows that a waiters pay check is mostly tips from customers and I thanked him. So every Monday and Friday he would come back and order the same thing, sometimes we would even sit together and talk. Next thing I know he takes me on a date. But the thing is, it's a date at his house over the best meal I have ever eaten. And for desert he pulls out all these ingredients to make an ice cream Sunday. He told me he wanted to serve me for a change," Dr. Grey chuckles at the memory. "The ice cream tasted great and it ended the night perfectly. He became one of my closest friends."

"Wow," Sevyn says. "Do you still talk to him?"

"Of course, we live under the same roof so I have to talk to him. We even share a bed."

Sevyn scrunches her eyebrows together then it clicks. "Are you married to him?"

"Sure am," Dr.Grey proudly models the silver band on her ring finger. "We've been happily married for 8 years now. And every Friday we make ice cream just to relive out first date."

"That's so cute!" Sevyn exclaims. Her mind starts to wonder about her future with Jackson. Will they ever last long enough to marry each other and have cute little traditions? "I hope I marry my best friend too, whether its my current one or my future one."

Dr.Grey gives Sevyn a serious look. "No matter what, make new friends but don't forget about the old ones. They knew you when you were still finding out who you are."

Sevyn already knows that she could never forget her friends. Monica, Corey, Jackson, Shaun. They have too many memories together to forget about. She just hopes when they've all graduated college and gotten jobs and started making their own path in life, they still keep in touch with each other. Without her friends, she would have never made it in the world. Independence is good, but sometimes it gets lonely too.

"Now tell me about that cut under your eye." Dr.Grey stares at the red line pushing against her tender skin.

Sevyn gently touches the cut on her face. "I accidentally scratched myself with my nail."
