Oml yall, Heads up Seven up is the same as Heads down thumbs up, its just what it was called for me growing up. No, I will not change it despite getting comments about it for literal years *insert sobbing emoji here*

My head was down as I walked, not ready to start the school year. Sophomore year took a lot out of me, and junior year was supposedly the hardest year.

"Oops, sorry," I said after I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw a man who had to have been a teacher. A very attractive teacher.

He chuckled. "Hi there." And with that he kept walking.

Can I please have him for one of my classes? I thought to myself.

Niall bumped into my shoulder as I walked along to my last class of the day, walking with me. "So, how's junior year treating you so far?"

I rolled my eyes. "It's nothing new. Same old shit, but a different day."

Niall shook his head with a grin. "Couldn't agree with you more."

I chuckled and we both walked into room twenty-eight, which happened to be history. "Apparently Mr. Henderson retired, so there's someone new," I said as we took seats next to each other, close to the wall in about the middle of the rows.

"Let's just hope they're not a drag. I need a lively teacher this year," Niall complained while slumping onto the desk. "But not too lively. There needs to be a balance."

I shook my head. "I dunno, Ni, seems like a lot to ask for."

"Fuck off," he groaned

The bell rang, and everyone sat down but kept talking, mostly ready to just go home. The first day always was pointless to me, but I dealt with it. It was better than being home, that was for damn sure.

A man walked in, but he had to be straight out of college. He was young and had brown hair with lake blue eyes. He had on a light blue button up that fitted him well. He had to have known that that would have been the key of all the girls obsessing over him.

And of course it's the same teacher I ran into earlier.

He clapped his hands together, a smile on his face. "Hello, I'm Louis Tomlinson, Mr. Tomlinson to you guys, I guess. I'm  twenty-five and this is my third year of teaching. Although history is boring- yes, I said it- this class won't be. I have a good feeling about this year." The class laughed a bit.

Niall tapped my shoulder, so I leaned back against my seat without looking at him. "Okay, all the girls are going to be swooning over him, how does that make for a great year?"

I shrugged. "Maybe they'll all be over it in just a few weeks." I looked over in time to see him roll his eyes.

Niall scoffed. "Yeah, right. In a few weeks they're gonna be talking about how to fuck him for a better grade."

I held back a smirk and shook my head slightly. "First things first," Tomlinson said, gaining my attention back. "Let's take attendance, then we'll figure out some icebreaker you haven't played a thousand times before."

He went through the list of names, finding the face that went with each student. I raised my hand when he said my name and he nodded, moving onto the next person. I could have sworn he smirked or something, but it was so quick and I wasn't really paying attention.

When he finished he moved a stool to the front of the room and sat down on it, looking around at us. "Who remembers Heads Up Seven Up?" Tomlinson asked. Almost everyone raised their hand and an excited murmur was started within the class. "When was the last time you played it?"

"Too long," Niall mumbled with a chuckle. That was a common answer among the class.

"Okay, seven volunteers to start off, then we'll progress." A ton of people shot their hands in the air. Niall and myself included. He pointed to Niall and I, so we got up, and he chose some people I hadn't seen before. "Okay, say your names so who ever gets chosen will have a chance at actually saying something close to your name."

He started at the kids closest to him, which was on the opposite end of where I was standing. Niall moved so he would be after me and I bumped him with my arm. I noticed Mr. Tomlinson was watching us so I stopped and said my name when it was my turn. Niall followed then we went and put someone's thumb down.

"Heads up, stand up," Tomlinson said when we all got back to the front. He started pointing to kids who guessed. Some new people replacing others. I managed to stay up when Niall got called out.

Danny motioned for me to go over to him when the round started so I did. "Go get Amanda, I'll get the kid next to Niall. Switch it up."

I chuckled and nodded, tapping on her thumb before returning to the front. Danny stood next to me, and Tomlinson repeated the same thing. The kid next to Niall locked eyes with me, and I smiled.

I actually ended up staying to the end, Niall calling out whoever I had chosen at the end when we were about to start the next round. I slapped the back of his head at one point, making him swat at me without looking up. Tomlinson seemed impressed but in all honesty, I was able to stay up there so long because I went unnoticed easily, which worked because people forgot that I was one of the options to choose from.

The bell rang, releasing us. Niall went back to our seats and grabbed my bag before I got there, handing it to me. As we walked out, Tomlinson nodded. "See you tomorrow."

Niall waved and I followed, shrugging my backpack on. "He seems cool," Niall commented.

"How long does it last, though?" I asked, popping my knuckles. Niall shrugged. "What're you doing now?"

"Taking your lame ass to go get food," Niall said, walking to the closest exit of the school. "You better love me."

I grinned. "You know I do." He shook his head and laughed, pushing me with his shoulder.
