Louis woke me up before we had to get off, letting me sleep through the landing. I held onto his hand as we walked through the airport to the luggage station, grabbing our bags. I rubbed my eyes to get the sleep out of them but it wasn't really working. I was exhausted and I knew Louis could tell.
"Still tired?" He asked while we were walking after my fourth yawn.
"Yeah," I answered. "Sleepy."
He gave my hand a squeeze while walking, him scanning for his family. "We can sleep when we get there."
"Okay, babe," I said, leaning on him. Louis eventually found his family, a wide smile breaking out on his face. I let go of his hand when he got closer and he took off, his mom wrapping him in his arms.
I walked up behind him, waiting for them to finish their greetings, feeling small compared to Louis. My family wasn't so big on being together for holidays, so I wasn't used to so many people, and it was just part of his family. The older kids were here but the younger weren't. I couldn’t remember everyone's names, and I was pretty sure I had them mixed up anyways.
Louis looked back at me, still smiling. "This is Harry," he introduced me, stepping back and wrapping his arm around my waist. "My amazing boyfriend."
"Hi," I said sheepishly, not wanting to be shy but I wasn't the most confident person. I was trying not to let anyone see the fact I was shaking.
"Welcome, sweetheart," Johannah greeted, pulling me into her. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her and the rest followed. Louis laced our fingers together, walking with me while we headed to the car. Louis sat next to me and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"See," he whispered while everyone was buzzing. "They love you."
"We're staying for a week, that's-"
"Not enough time to change their opinion. Hey, it's almost my birthday, and Christmas, they're gonna be a lot of fun. Don't worry, love."
I nodded, closing my eyes. “It's almost your birthday,” I repeated.
"You two look exhausted. Do you want to rest when we get back?" Johannah offered.
"Yeah," Louis accepted. I opened my eyes and repositioned so I wasn't against Louis as much. "Jet lag is gonna kill us," he joked, squeezing my hand which I returned.
"What time is it?" I asked. I hadn't bothered with my phone since we got off the plane. It was tucked in my luggage somewhere.
"About eight," Louis answered which made me widen my eyes.
"I thought it was only four hours on the plane." We left at two that should only put us at around six, closer to six thirty.
"Time change, love," Louis reminded, and I nodded, relaxing again.“So how's the high school?” his mom asked.
“It's better than the last one.” I looked over at him. He never brought up where he taught before moving to Kinsters. “All the teens behave so much better than here. How did you raise us so well?” Louis said with an evident smile.
“Just did my job, honey,” Johannah responded.
"Usually Harry's isn't so quiet," Louis said after a stretch of quiet.
"I was about to say, Louis doesn't usually date quiet people. He's a loud person himself and needs someone to match that," one of his sister's said.
"He's loud alright," Louis said lowly, so only I could hear. I slapped his arm, blushing. Louis just laughed, shaking his head. He grabbed my hand and kissed it, smiling behind my hand.
"Shut up," I groaned. “You like it so shush."
Louis nodded, leaning closer and brushing our noses together. "That I do."
"Eww!" His other sister said. I couldn't keep their names straight to save my life. "No PDA."
"It's not even PDA," Louis argued, pulling back. "We bumped noses. Nothing else."
"PDA," she sung.
Louis smiled then looked to me, leaning forward. He kissed me slowly, making the girls groan and him smile. He pulled back after a few seconds, obviously not wanting to make it a big deal.
"Keep it contained, you two," Johannah warned playfully.
When we got to the house Johanna told us to leave our bags and just to go rest. Louis didn't argue and pulled me along when I went to get my things anyways. "They're gonna baby us, just let them."
"You already baby me," I said as Louis lead me to his old room.
"Then you get double babied. And you have to deal with it," he smiled, pressing me to the wall next to his room. "Not that you hate it, though."
"True," I admitted to him, reaching up and kissing him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I get you for a week with no hiding," I said when we pulled apart, resting my head on his chest.
"It's gonna be amazing. Not having to be careful, being able to go on dates without people seeing us," he kissed my neck. "You're gonna love it."
"I'm excited," I murmured, holding onto him tightly. "But I'm tired."
"Yeah, yeah, come on," he said, leading me in the room.
I kicked off my shoes and took fell in the bed, ignoring Louis telling me to change into something more comfortable.
"I'm fine,” I whined, holding onto the blanket.
"Come on, Haz," he argued, flipping me over. I whined and he just shook his head. "At least help me."
I sighed and lifted my hips and he pulled off my jeans, then put sweats on my legs. He then pulled me into a sitting position and I took off my shirt, and Louis slipped one of his hoodies over me.
"Better?" He asked, changing himself while I fell back on the bed. I nodded, snuggling into the blanket. "You must be tired."
"Yeah," I responded, opening my eyes to see him slipping on a new shirt. "And needy." I reached out for him and opened and closed my fists, making him laugh and shake his head.
"Only my Hazza," he said as he got under the blanket, pulling me to his chest. I rested my head on his chest, my eyes already starting to shut. "Sleep good, baby."
