“How was your day?” Louis asked when he wrapped his arms around me after everyone else had left his room. Tutoring was pretty much over and I was ready to go to his house. I pulled his face down to mine and kissed him.

“I’m ready to go to your house,” I whispered when he pulled away and pressed our foreheads together. “I want you.”

“Everything okay, Haz?” I nodded my head. “Okay, well, let’s go. Let’s get you back to mine.”

The trip to the car was eventful. I tripped and Louis attempted to catch me, which resulted in coffee spilling and making a huge mess on the floor. We cleaned it up and told one of the janitors that was close before finally making it to the car.

When we got to his house I took off my jacket and hung it on a hook while Louis did the same. As soon as we were done he pushed me against the wall and kissed me, pressing his body to mine.

"Already?" I asked, biting my lip as Louis attacked my neck. "Fuck, yes."

Louis smirked and continued, sucking a mark onto my skin, making sure to darken it. "I like that. Means your mine but no one knows."

I kissed him before I responded, lacing my fingers in his hair. "I love it."

"I know you do," he said, kissing me again before grabbing the bottom of my shirt and pulling it off, throwing it to the ground. When he reattached his lips it was on my neck, slowly kissing lower until he got to the waistband of my pants and got on his knees.

"God," I groaned, already hard as a rock and Louis had barely touched me.

He stopped his hands on my pants, and I whined. "Don't be in a hurry. We have all night."

"You're teasing," I whined. "And I'm literally a seventeen year old horndog."

"Fine, fine," Louis chuckled, unbuttoning my jeans. "Demanding much?"

"You love it-" I was cut off by a knock on his door, which made us both freeze.

"My room," he whispered in my ear when he stood, and I nodded, quickly going to his room and closing the door.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," I muttered, running my hands through my hair. "Someone knows, Louis is gonna get arrested. No, he..." I stared at his door, moving to it and pressing my ear to it.

"I'm fine, Liam. I'm just more stressed than I thought I would be this year," I heard Louis say.

"You're either at that damn high school or you're here, Louis. You don't go out anymore and it's not healthy."

"Hey," I pouted quietly.

"I told you I'm seeing someone," Louis argued. "They're just really shy."

"I don't believe you. Seriously, you need to come out."

"Seriously I have to teach tomorrow and I have tests to grade," Louis said. "This weekend, okay. You, me."

"And whoever your dating," he demanded.

My heart stopped and I held my breath for a second. "No, no, no."

"I can ask, but he's shy, okay? It took me months to actually talk to the kid," Louis pleaded.

"Fine. This weekend. No other plans."

"No plans. See ya, Li."

I heard the door close and I closed my eyes, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Louis opened the bedroom door, looking at me. "Are you okay?"

I nodded my head. "I'm fine. I just thought... I thought we got caught. I got scared.” Louis wrapped me in his arms, holding me to his chest. "I don't want to lose you."

"You won't, baby," he whispered, kissing my head. "I'm right here."

"I know," I nuzzled into his neck, kissing it. "What're you gonna do when your friends honestly demand to meet me?" I asked.

"I don't know, we'll figure that out. Maybe they'll understand, maybe they won't. I'm not sure."

"I'll be 18 in February, if you can hold it off that long," I reminded him, closing my eyes while we swayed. "That feels so long."

"I know, but we'll make it work," Louis said. "I know we will."

"I'm scared. I don't want you getting in trouble," I whispered, clinging to him tightly. "We can't get caught."

"We won't, we won't. We won't get caught, Hazza." Louis kissed my head. "Just us."

There was another knock, and Louis sighed. "I'll be right back, get in bed, okay?"

I nodded against his chest, then moved to his bed and pulled off my jeans while getting under the blanket. Louis left the door open, meaning I would have to try harder to be quiet.

"Hel- Liam? What-"

"Okay, what are you hiding? I was going to let it go, but it's been months, Louis."

His voice got closer, making me freeze on the bed. I didn't want it to creak and have his friend come investigate.

"Liam, come on dude, I'm fine. Look at me. Do I seem depressed, or anything else?"

I mouthed "Louis, don't let him see me," to myself, closing my eyes.

"Yes! You never leave your job at work, Louis. You need to take a break. I'm not even sure you actually have a boyfriend because every chance we have to meet him, he's too shy or whatever."
I took a deep breath and got a hoodie and a pair of sweats from Louis’ dresser and slipped them on, trying to look less scared and more annoyed. I walked out of the room and to the living room doorway.

"Whats going on?" I asked, resting my forearm on the door way.

Louis spun around quickly and looked absolutely terrified, but I kept my face neutral, turning my attention to Liam.

"Babe," Louis said, trying to keep his voice even, "I told you I had it."

"Wait, what?" Liam asked, staring at me. "This is your boyfriend?"

"In the flesh," I said, looking at Louis.

Louis was chewing his lip nervously, looking around like someone was going to jump out any second. He looked at me and I smiled, trying to get him to calm down.

"Damn, okay. Well, proved me wrong there. Okay. Well, fuck..." Liam said, looking at Louis, who turned to him. "Why didn't you just say he was here?"

"I didn't want anyone to know," I said, stepping over to Louis. "I'm worried you guys are going to hate me," I explained honestly. Louis pulled me to his chest, and I prayed he couldn't make the age difference from there. "So I've been pushing off meeting you until I was sure that you guys wouldn't hate me, it's complicated and all in my head."

It's not all in my head. The age difference was a real thing. Him being my teacher was a real thing. As long as Liam didn't realize either of those we would be fine.

"You're what, like a junior or something?" Liam asked. I stopped breathing and Louis looked to the ground. "What's your major?"

College, fuck, okay, I thought.

"Sign language," I said, and Liam nodded his head. It's what I was actually going to study… same difference right?

"Okay, he's legit. I'm just gonna go now. Bye." He looked around before turning around and heading outside, face-palming himself right before the door closed.

"What were you thinking?" Louis asked, turning to face me. "If he would have actually thought-"

"But he didn't. Babe, it's okay," I said quietly, moving my arms around his waist.

"He's gonna think you're older, try to invite you out and shit. You won't be able to go." Louis kissed the top of my head.

"Does he love you?" I asked, pulling back to look at him. "In any way, shape or form, does love you?"

"Liam?" I nodded. "Yeah, of course. We're best friends, but-"

"But nothing. I'll be eighteen in less than three months. You're my teacher, so what? This relationship was never honestly about my grade. Neither of us have blackmailed the other with the relationship and I don't plan on it."

"I don't either," Louis said, holding onto me tightly.

"Then why can't they accept the fact we're happy together? If push comes to shove that's what it is, until then I'm a junior in college focused on taking sign language," I shrugged. "I just couldn't listen to him say I didn't exist. I just... I need to exist in your world like how you leave hickies on me as your way. I don't know, it sounds stupid."

I get insecure so much. I get worried that one day he won't put up with it. That soon enough I'll just be some dumb kid. He'll meet someone his age and decide I'm not worth the risk anymore. And it terrifies me knowing one day Louis probably will change his mind.

"It's not stupid," Louis said quickly. "Not stupid at all, baby. I get it."

"Are you sure?"

Louis nodded. "Since we're in a serious type mood," he started, trapping his lip between his teeth for a few seconds, "I want to ask you something.”
