“Harry,” Louis said, shaking me awake. I groaned and tried to put my face back into the pillow. “Baby,” he cooed.

“I'm gonna kill you,” I muttered. “Sleep.” I halfheartedly pulled him down and groaned when he didn’t.

“Trust me, okay? You’ll want to get up.” I sighed and finally sat up. Louis was smiling as he grabbed my hand, blankets draped over his arms.

“It's still dark out,” I mumbled quietly as he pulled me with him into the hallway. “We should be sleeping."

Louis just hummed until we got to the back door before draping one of the blankets around me. When we went outside Louis pulled my back to his chest and instructed me to look up.

“Woah.” It looked like there were hundreds of shooting stars streaming across the sky. I watched them as Louis rested his head on my shoulder and kissed my cheek. “Worth it,” I said distractedly, looking back and forth slowly as Louis rubbed my arms.

“I thought you'd want to see it.” Louis kissed my cheek again before nuzzling his head into my neck. “Its beautiful.”

“Like you.” Louis smiled and shook his head lightly, his hair tickling my cheek as he did.

“No, like you.”

I closed my eyes for a second, wishing for more moments like this. Where Louis and I are carefree, and there's no reason to doubt anything. Just us together, in pure happiness.
