I frowned and tossed my phone onto the other side of the couch. Louis hadn't texted me in a couple of hours and I was feeling lonely. I sighed as I curled into a ball on the couch and traced my tattoo with my thumb.

Everytime my phone went off with a notification I got my hopes up only for it not to be Louis every single time. You think I would have realized it wasn’t going to be him the first twenty-five times I checked my phone, but nope. Everytime I still think it would have been him.

I got up to go to the kitchen to get a cup of water during a commercial of whatever drama was on. I was hardly paying attention to it, mostly trying to distract myself. I heard my phone start to ring but I didn't hurry to my phone. I still made it back to the living room before the phone stopped ringing and answered it quickly when I saw Louis’ name.

“I miss you,” I said first thing. “God, I fucking miss you.”

“I miss you too, baby,” he said. “What are you doing?”

“Just sitting around, watching t.v. There's like nothing going on right now,” I said as I fell back into the couch.

“Well,” Louis said, “I have a surprise.”

I sat back up, a smile starting to form on my lips. “Really?” I asked excitedly.

“Just maybe,” Louis responded, a smile evident in his voice. I stood up and started walking to the door. When I opened it, Louis stood there smiling even wider than I imagined. “Surprise.”

I hugged him tightly and he dropped his bag, wrapping his arms around me. I breathed in deeply. “You’re not allowed to leave without me again.”

“Trust me,” Louis whispered into my hair, “I don't want to leave without you again.”

I pulled back and kissed him hard. “Inside,” I mumbled. We didn't stop kissing as he moved inside and he pressed me to the wall after kicking the door closed.

Louis bit my lip then moved down to kissing my neck. I closed my eyes and tilted my head as my breathing started picking up. He trailed his hands up and down my sides a few times until his thumbs hooked into the waistband of my jeans. I started pushing off his jacket.

“Fuck, Lou,” I groaned when he sucked on my sweet spot. He bit the fresh mark before kissing me again and finally taking his jacket off all the way and pulling my shirt off.

He finished taking off our clothes and Louis walked until he pushed me down on the couch. “I fucking missed you so much,” Louis mumbled.

I cuddled into Louis, closing my eyes as I practically laid on top of him. “How was it?” I asked.

“Boring,” he responded, rubbing my bare back. “It was just telling us about some basic teaching things that I already know.”

“For a whole week?” I asked, my cheek pressed into his chest. “God, you must have been bored.”

“Yeah, pretty much,” he agreed. I missed his voice so much. Over the phone and on Skype, it never sounded the same. “How was school?”

“Miserable.” I opened my eyes and turned my head to look at him. “How did I ever make it through without you?”

“No idea, love,” Louis chuckled. “Wanna go to bed?”

“No, sleep,” I said simply, putting my cheek back on his chest. Louis chuckled again before kissing my head.
