"y/n come on!" ethan yells from downstairs. "i'm coming! i'm coming!" i yell back and run down the stairs. "you ready?" he ask, turning off his phone and getting up from the couch. "yup" i nod. we then both get in the car and ethan drives us to the beach.
ethan and i decided to do a beach day today cause we've been so busy the pass few day, we didn't even have time to relax. so today we took a day off from all our stuff and now we're going to the beach.
we arrive at the beach and i set up while ethan puts on sunscreen. "hey, can you get my back?" he asks and hands me the sunscreen. he turns around and i rub sunscreen all over his back. "alright, done" i put it away. "thanks" he says and i lay down and relax while ethan runs to the water.
later
ethan runs up to me, all wet. water dripping from his hair. "done already?" i ask because he swam for just a little amount of time. "not just yet" he smirks. i look at him confused. "what do you mea-" then ethan picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "ah! ethan! ethan no!" my sunglasses drop and he starts walking to the water.
"ethan grant dolan, put me down!" i move around. "ugh! i swear, if you don't put me down-" before i can finish, he drops me into the cold water. i swim up and ethan is laughing his butt off. "ethan!" i get the hair out of my face. "what? you said put you down. so i did." he says trying his best not to laugh.
"i meant put me down on the sand! not the freakin cold water!" i yell while shivering. "it's not cold" he falls back into the water, making a big splash and splashes me. "of course it not cold for you! you're use to it by now!" "just relax and have fun y/n" ethan says and wraps his arms around my waist.
"i was going to relax over there though.." i say and point to spot in the shade. "but i'm here swimming alone...i'm lonely here y/n...swim with me..please?" he kisses my cheek. "fine.." "yay!" he starts splashing around. i laugh at how childish he looked.
ethan's and i swim for a while. then we made sand castles and went back into the water and had a splash fight.
it was starting to get late so we packed up and headed to the car. "today was fun" he smiles while focusing his eyes on the road. "yea, how about we get ice cream before home?" i ask and put my hand on his. "sounds good" he hold my hand.
we got ice cream, talked and headed home. we took a shower and relaxed on our shared bed. "i liked today. it was nice to have a break from all our stuff" i say as i cuddle with him. "yeah. we should definitely do this again" ethan wraps his arm around me and kisses my forehead. i smile.
