"ethan, if you want to actually help bake the cookies then i'd love the extra help, but if you're just going to eat the raw dough then no. you'll get sick!" i swat his hands away from the bowl of raw goodness. ethan crossed his arms. "i just want to make you one cookie to bake, please" i sighed. "fine. one cookie. after that, no touching the dough" ethan clapped his together and got to work.
after a few minutes, he placed it on the pan. "before you bake this one, you have to check to see if i rolled it well enough since i'm not a great baker" ethan stated. i nodded, picking the dough up, in my hands. when i rolled it around, trying to achieve a better shape than a lopsided oval ethan had done, i noticed something hard inside. digging my fingers into the cookie dough, i grabbed out a ring. ethan beamed, taking it from my hands and going on one knee.
"i know its not an extremely fancy proposal, not very ideal, but surprise!" he chuckled. i was lost for words. "y/n, you make me so happy, you'd make me happier if you said yes to my question.
will you marry me?
ethan asked. i squealed. "of course ethan!" he smiled, putting the ring on my finger, the both of us admiring it. "i cant believe you put it in the cookie dough!" i giggled. "and no ethan, this proposal is ideal for me. you know i love baking and you used it to propose to me. thats the sweetest thing. i love you so much" i smiled. "i love you more" ethan replied, hugging me tightly.
