"hey guys" i say nervously into my camera.
"today, i'm here with myyyy...." i make a drumroll on the table. "best friend!" i cheer. "hey guys" ethan smiles into the camera as he sits down.
"you might be wondering, why is ethan here? well, i'm going to be hooked up on a lie detector and ethan will be asking me questions. which i'm nervous about because i don't know the questions are" i look at him. "that's why its exciting!" he smirks.
i roll my eyes. "anyway, lets get started" i say. "to the living room!" ethan yells as he run out. i chuckle and get up to follow him.

"alrighty...." i look at myself that is hooked up to the lie detector. "i'm scared" i look at ethan. "you're fine" he looks at his phone. "no i'm not! who knows what you're gonna ask me!" i basically yell. "not until i ask" he smirks. i roll my eyes.
"first question"
"nooo...."
"no?" he raises an eyebrow. i just look at him. "anyway, first question" he looks back at his phone.
"have you ever smoked weed?"
"have not" i say quickly. "see? not so bad is it?" he asks. "ethan, i won't know if i'm lying or not until the end" i look at him. "well, lets hurry up then shall we?" i roll my eyes and look at the camera, wanting this to end.
why did i think of this in the first place?...
"have you ever told a lie?"
"yes"
"oh my god!" ethan starts over reacting. "shut up. you tell lies too" i say and he stays silent and i laugh. "alright, next question!"
"have you ever stolen anything?"
"no i haven't"
"wow, what a good child" ethan says. "I don't know. it might come up as a lie" i shrug. he then stares at me.
"are you dating anyone?"
"no"
he was silent for a while. "ok, last question" he looks at me.
"do you like anyone?"
i stay silent. i bit my lip and look down.
"no.." i mumble.

"now its time to see if you are telling the truth or not" he looks at the camera then at me. "ugh, i'm so nervous.." i say.
"alright. the first question was, have you ever smoked weed?" he looked up at me from the computer. "and that was true!" i let out a sigh of relief. "i told you i don't do those kind of stuff. its disgusting" i say.
"then the second question was, have you ever told a lie? you said yes and that was true!" he says. "bro, everyone tells lies."
"the third question, i asked if you ever stole anything. you answered no. and its true!" he chuckles. "i don't steal. i'm a good child" i say making both of us laugh.
"the fourth question, i asked if you were dating anyone. you answered no. it was true" i scoff. "of course. no one will ever date this ugly potato"
"then the last and final question. i asked if you liked anyone. you said no." he looked up at me.
"it was a lie"
my eyes widen. "i-i..." i look down. "would you like to explain?" ethan asks raising an eyebrow. "i do like someone" i say quickly. "who?" he closes the computer. "ethan, i already explained!" i said still looking down. "that wasn't enough explaining" i look up and he's right there.
"who do you like?" he asks again. i look down blushing.
"you"
"what was that? i couldn't hear you"
"i said yo-" right before i could finish, ethan cuts me off with a kiss. seconds later, he pulls away and looks at me in the eyes. "i like you too" he smiles making me smile as well.
i was so caught up in the moment, i forgot we were still filming. i turned to the camera and laughed nervously.
"w-well, i guess i am dating now" i say and ethan laughs. i look at ethan.
"i'm glad i did the lie detector"
