today the twins and i decided it would be a good idea if we went camping. grayson reserved a spot by the beach while ethan and i got the stuff ready. we went to the store to find some stuff we would need.
"ethan we'll need this. we don't want to go back home looking like tomatoes" i throw the sunscreen at him. "hey! don't need to throw" he puts it in the grocery basket he was holding. "how about this?" he holds up a sand castle mold. "what would we need that for?" i ask, pointing at it. "uh, building a sand castle" he said in a 'duh' tone. i chuckle, shaking my head and turning around. "oh! marshmallows ethan!" i look around for marshmallows. "lets split up" ethan says and i nod. we split up and we look around.
as i look around i find other snacks. "not marshmallows but might as well grab more snack while we're here" i grab a few snacks. a few minutes of looking i bump into ethan. "i found the marshmallows" he holds them up. "i didn't as you can tell but i found more snacks" he laughs and we go pay for the stuff. after paying the stuff, we go to the camping spot and meet Grayson there.
"hey gray" i wave to him. he hammers the last stake in the ground and looks up at me. "hey" he then throws the hammer somewhere on the ground before hugging me. "i see you got the tent up" ethan says putting down the bags he was holding. "yea, i might as well put it up because i know you guys won't" he said walking away to get a bottle of water. "hey!" i said crossing my arms. "thats true" i shrug and we all laugh. "swimming time!" ethan takes off his shirt and runs towards the water. "hey! Ethan come back!" i yell and he groans turning around, walking slowly towards me. "what?" "sunscreen? if not, then thats fine with me. you can go and come back all sunburnt" i say and he quickly grabs the sunscreen from my hands and puts some on.
"can you get my back?" i take the sunscreen from him and he turns around then i rub sunscreen all over his back. "thanks" he says quickly, and runs to the water again. i put all the snacks and food in the cooler while the twins are swimming in the water. "hey!" i hear grayson yell. "come in with us! its not that bad!" he waves for me to come in the water. "yea, its not cold at all!" ethan yells after grayson. "i'm good!" i yell back and sit on the table we had there and watched them swim.

a few minutes later, i look up from my sketch book and see a laughing grayson with a not so happy ethan following behind. "what happened?" i ask, closing my book and putting it aside. "grayson put sand in my hair!" ethan ruffled his hair, making sand fall out and grayson laughing. "well you started it. you threw sand on me so i to do it back" grayson said trying to stop his laugh. "not in my hair grayson!" ethan looked at him, pointing at his sandy hair. "ok guys, stop fighting. get all washed up and we'll start the fire since its starting to get dark out" i look at them and they nod.
they go to the bathroom and i start finding the wood for the fire. later, i find this big log and i [try] carry it back to the campsite. i carried it a little bit but it kept on falling. [more like i kept on dropping it] since i cant carry it i just drag it. and this thing is heavy! once i arrived i saw ethan and grayson talking at the table. grayson saw me. "y/n! here, let me help you" he chuckled and ran to help me, picking up the log and carrying it to the place we're gonna make the fire. "that thing is so heavy..." i slump down by ethan and rest my head on his shoulder. he just chuckled and patted my head.
"thanks y/n for getting the wood" grayson laughed. i just gave him a thumbs up. me and ethan talked and watched as grayson made the fire. i grabbed the marshmallows and skewers and went back. "yes! marshmallows!" grayson cheered. "of course! how can i forget about marshmallows?" i gave the twins skewers and they just took as many marshmallows as they wanted. i just took two and put it over the fire. i then looked over at ethan's skewer and he had four. "ethan!" "what?" he looked at me confused. "four marshmallows are you serious?!" i pointed at his skewer. he looked at it for a while. "yes. yes i'm serious." he then took a bite of his now roasted marshmallows. i shook my head and laughed.
while ethan and grayson were laughing and joking around by the fire, i went out onto the beach and laid on the sand, looking up at the starry sky. as i was looking up, i felt someone lay next to me. i turned my head and saw ethan looking up at the stars as well. "I had fun today" he said, turning his head to look at me. i smiled. "yea" it was silent for a while. ethan then leaned in and i leaned as well. i then closed my eyes and i felt his soft lips on mine. the kiss last for about a minute. we then pulled away and looked at each other and smiled.
"finally! you guys finally kissed! do you know how long i've been waiting for this moment to happen?" grayson says popping out of no where. ethan and i jumped but then laughed at grayson.
