I didn't sleep much that night. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Amy. I saw her picture in the sky. I saw her smiling at me. I saw her die... over and over and over. The next day, everything was worse. I sat up and sighed, tears still running down my cheeks. I poked and prodded at my food, but didn't eat. I did take a single sip of water. May and Elijah talked quietly. They occasionally looked at me sympathetically. But, where the happiness for them used to be, there was only hollowness. I stood and walked over to the edge of the island, staring down into the abyss. The only thing that stopped me was a strange beeping noise. I looked up and saw a silver parachute. It landed behind me, but I didn't pick it up.
"Jake... You should pick it up. A lot of us don't get a lot of parachutes." Said Elijah. I sighed and nodded. I unlocked it and looked inside it. Bread. I suddenly did a double take. It was bread... from District 3. Amy's District. I felt the tears begin to flow again. I looked up into the sky and mouthed,
"Thank you." I knew the cameras picked it up. Then, I cut off a piece and popped it into my mouth. I sighed.
"If I could have saved her, I would have" I said.
"Jake, we know you would have"
There was a twitter of a bird. A bird landed on me. Suddenly, there was a scream. It wasn't just any scream.

It was Chaos's scream
