Lukas's POV.

The day was rather cold, even in Beacon Town. The freezing winds came from the north, making every citizen sigh in annoyance and take out their coats and hats. Winter was coming.

Jesse and Radar, like always, locked themselves up in their office, spending hours upon hours on some stupid paperwork. Well, it seemed stupid to me, but I believe it was something extremely important. At least now I didn't have to worry about them overworking, they had both learned that lesson so long ago.

I sighed and looked around the Town, humming some sort of a song to myself. The clouds were chasing each other in the sky, which was so unnaturally light that there was no doubt - tomorrow would be even colder. People walked up and down the streets, waving at me every now and then. I always waved back, smiling friendly and politely. This sort of a greeting seemed to cheer them up, especially if it came from a member of the Order of The Stone like me.

Amazing, how many good things I missed out there on my own! Living a solitary life somewhere in the woods, nobody apart from my ocelot and my horse to keep me company. I never felt lonely then, claiming that too many people distracted me from writing, but now I really appreciated having somebody to talk to.

And all it had taken me to realise that was one crazy almighty person. I chuckled in my scarf, breathing in the cold air, which prickled in my nose. It's been so long since the whole Admin adventure! And so many things have changed over the years, sometimes I couldn't even imagine that I had seen it all... Well, most of it. I didn't see Jesse down in that prison, nor did I see her fighting Romeo. Although by the way she described it later, it was epic.

Now, there was no more reason for her to fight anybody like this. Life became peaceful and calm, just the way she and I liked it. I guess Jesse had faced enough trouble to crave silence and rest. And she deserved all of it, really.

Of course, not everything has been smooth and perfect. Aiden, Maya and Gill returned, and it took us about a few months to trust them. Then, a few weeks after, Jesse suddenly got an unexpected photo of an old house and a calico cat on the window, as well as some white seeds in a pocket. Sure enough, she decided to plant them, and they grew up to become a real white pumpkin. There was no note, but we figured that this photo probably meant that Cassie Rose returned home. We still doubled the security, though.

Other than that, pretty nothing else happened. Romeo, powerless, went back to his world to "redeem himself" or something like that. I don't know what happened to the guy later, we have never heard from him after that, but I surely hoped he wouldn't go mad out there. I mean, even more mad, than before.

Petra did leave Beacon Town to go adventuring. She returned not so long ago though, with more scars, bruises and amazing stories to tell. Now she was resting in the Order Hall, gaining enough strengh to hit the road again. However, she wasn't really looking forward to doing to, I suppose she had grown rather home-sick.

Me? Well, I have published my second book, called "Fighting Against Almighty". It wasn't as popular as the first one, but more and more people became interested in it every day. So... Yeah, life was good.

Suddenly something changed right in front of my eyes. I focused my eyes once again, seing somebody's fingers before my face.
- Hello-o. - There was a familiar voice above my ear, making me frown and look up. - Earth to Lukas.
A sigh escaped my lips, which curled into a friendly smile.
- Hey, Petra. - I stretched my arms. She smirked and sat down on a banch next to me, her bandana freshly washed and cleaned of all blood and dust and dirt. - What's up?

- I've been calling you for a few minutes, mr. Dreamer. - The redhead replied, elbowing me in my stomach gently. - What have you been thinking about?
- Just some memories. - I shrugged, rubbing my side where her elbow had hit me. Ouch.
