My thoughts are interrupted by my doorbell being rung, I'm watching Tristan so I grab him then go downstairs. I open the door to someone I was hoping I'd never see again.
"What do you want?" I snap
"Please give me a chance" Angels begs
"Why?" I ask
"Because Amanda, I'm still your mom and I didn't get to explain why I gave you up" Angela explains
"Fine come in" I sigh
Angela sits on the couch and I sit Tristan in his swing.
"Start explaining" I say
"Well I was 18 years old and not quite graduated yet" Angela starts "I needed to get my life on track before I could even think about taking care of you and there was no one who could take you in"
"This still doesn't change anything Angela" I sigh "Demi is my mom now and I wouldn't change my life for anything"
"Please let me be in you life" Angela asks hopefully
"I don't know" I sigh
Tristan starts crying so I get him a bottle and start feeding him.
"So who's baby is that?" Angela asks
"Demi and Marissas" I smile "he's my brother"
"You know you have a sister too right" Angela tells me
"What's her name?" I ask
"Bailey" Angela says
"Oh" I say "how old is she?"
"9" Angela tells me
"Oh" I say
I put Tristan back in his swing and get my phone out.
"So I won't try to get you back but can I please be in your life?" Angela asks
"I guess I'll give you a chance" I say
"Thank you so much Amanda!" Angela grins
"Welcome" I say
"Do you maybe want to come spend the night at my house this weekend and get to know your sister?" Angels asks
"I'll have to ask mom but I guess" I say
Just then Demi walks in the door.
"I obviously missed something" she says
"I let Angela explain herself and I decided Id give her a chance as long as I got to stay with you" I explain
"That's great" Demi smiles
"She wants me to come spend the night this weekend" I say
"You can go if you want" Demi says
"Alright" I say
Angela leaves and I start helping Demi make dinner.
*skip forward to this weekend*
"Amanda are you ready?" Demi asks
"Yeah" I say "but I need to talk to you a second"
"What's up?" Demi asks
"What if I get in trouble? What will happen?" I ask
"Just deal with her punishment and if it isn't effective you tell me" Demi says
"Alright" I say
We leave and Demi drops me off at Angela's.
"Behave yourself" She tells me
"I'll try" I say
