Demi's going out for the day to do some stuff. This will be the first time I'm alone with Gracie, I think I'll be okay though. Dianna offered to come and help but I declined simply because this is something I need to be able to do on my own. Shawn did tell me he would come over and help but I doubt he will. He is pissed at me.
Right now Gracie's asleep so I'm catching up on some chores. Demi's leaving any minute.
"Amanda are you sure you're good to stay alone with Gracie?" Demi asks
"If I have any questions I'll call you or Dianna but I'm sure everything will be fine" I say
"If you're sure" Demi says
"Mom just go" I say
"Okay okay" Demi says
"Bye mom" I say
"Bye Amanda" Demi says
Demi finally leaves and I finish up my chores. I go up to check on Gracie, she's still asleep. While I have the chance I take a little nap myself. Of course the nap only lasts about 20 minutes before Gracie wakes up.
I don't mind though, I love my baby girl so much. She starts crying so I pick her up. I bounce her just a little and she calms down. My phone starts to wrong so I go get it. It's Dallas' number.
Me: Hello?
Bailey: hey, it's bailey.
Me: hey what's up?
Bailey: can I come over? I miss you.
Me: of course you can, do you need a ride?
Bailey: nah Dallas is going out she said she can drop me off
Me: okay see you when you get here
Once I get off the phone with bailey I lay Gracie down in her swing. Once she's buckled in I turn on the music and go to make lunch. Bailey gets here 15 minutes later.
"Hey" Bailey says as she walks in the kitchen
"Hey" I say "how's life with Dallas?"
"It's great! I love it there" Bailey says
"Good" I smile "have you talked to Angela?"
"No, Dallas doesn't want me to until I'm a bit older and I'm not sure I want to" Bailey tell me
"Fair enough" I say
"Can I see Gracie?" Bailey asks
"Sure, do you want to feed her?" I ask
"Yes!" Bailey says excitedly
"Go sit in the rocking chair and wait" I say with a laugh
Bailey goes in the living room as I warm up a pre-made bottle. Once it's at the perfect temperature I bring that to her. Gracie looks like she's going to cry so I quickly pick her up and put her in baileys arms.
"Are you good?" I ask
"Yep" Bailey says
"Alright let me know if you need help" I say
"I will" Bailey says
I go back in the kitchen to clean up just as Maddie comes in the door.
"Hey how was Beas?" I ask
"It was so much fun" Maddie says
"Good I'm glad" I say
"Is Demi home?" Maddie asks
"Nah she had to do some stuff" I say
"Dang it" Maddie frowns
"Why, what's up?" I ask
"I wanted to go to my moms but I don't feel like walking" Maddie says
"I'll drive you over" I say
"You don't have to do that" Maddie says
"No, but I will it's a short drive and I'm sure Dianna and Eddie would love to see Gracie" I say
"Okay then when do you want to take me over?" Maddie asks
"Baileys here feeding Gracie so we'll go once she's done" I say
"Baileys here?" Maddie asks excitedly
"Yep" I laugh
She runs in the living room, obviously excited to see bailey. I go in a minute later to grab some stuff to put in the diaper bag.
"Amanda how do I burp her?" Bailey asks
"I'll show you" maddie says
I watch as Maddie carefully takes Gracie from Bailey and burps her. I go back to packing the diaper bag since Maddie's got it under control.
"Maddie, Bailey go ahead and get in the car I'll be out in a minute" I say and take Gracie
Maddie and Bailey run out the door as I hook Gracie in her car seat. She starts to get fussy so I give her a pacifier. I grab her and the diaper bag then go out to the car.i put the diaper bag on the passenger seat and buckle Gracie's car seat in. Once we're all settled I drive over to Dianna's. Maddie and Bailey run inside and I follow. I'm leaving the car running and Gracie in the car since I'll only be a minute.
"Hey Dianna, Eddie" I say as I walk in the door
"Hey kid" Eddie says
"Everything going okay?" Dianna asks
"Yeah, Maddie wanted to come over here so I drove her over" I say
"Where is she anyway?" Dianna asks
"She probably went upstairs with Bailey" I say
"Oh alright" Dianna says
"Yeah, well I better head on out I'll come get the girls in a bit" I say
"Alright call us if you need anything" Dianna says
"Will do" I say
I head out and get home just as marissa pulls in.
"It's only 1:30 are you sure you want me to take him back?" I ask
"Yeah I have plans" marissa says
"Okay whatever" I say
Marissa hands Tristan's stuff over to me and gets him out of the car. He runs over to me and hugs my legs. Marissa doesn't say bye to him she just leaves. I bring him inside and sit his stuff down then get Gracie. Once she's inside I get her little play mat and lay her on it. She's a little confused but she gets the idea of how to play with it. Tristan starts playing with it too.
"Hey I'm home" Demi says as she walks in the door
"Hey" I say
"How'd it go today?" Demi asks
"Pretty smoothly" I say "Bailey came over, Maddie came home, they wanted to go to Dianna's so I brought them there"
"How long have you had those two at the same time?" Demi asks
"Like 10 minutes" I say
"Oh okay" Demi says
"So how is this going to work, are you and marissa getting a divorce or is this temporary?" I ask
"I hope it's temporary" Demi says
"Me too" I say "me too"
