DEMI POV

I'm so happy amanda is comfortable around me, I honestly thought she was going to hide her self harm from me and she didn't. I woke up on the couch with Amanda cuddled up to me. I slowly got up without waking her up and went to make breakfast.

"Morning Demi" Amanda says

"Morning! Did you sleep okay?" I ask

"Yeah, but only because I was cuddled up to you" Amanda smiles

"I made pancakes" i say

"Oh no thanks I'm not hungry" Amanda says

"Amanda you have to eat baby girl try and eat at least one for me" I say giving her my puppy dog eyes

"I guess I'll try" Amanda says

I put a pancake on her plate and she stared at it

"Come on Amanda you can do it" I say

"Can't I at least have something healthier to try and eat?" Amanda asks

"Yeah" I say and went to the fridge "how does yogurt sound?"

"Better than pancakes" Amanda says

I handed her a yogurt and spoon and she slowly took a bite. Amanda looked terrified of the yogurt.

"It's okay Amanda this is good for you. You will not gain weight from eating one yogurt" I explain

"Promise?" She asked

"Promise" I say

Amanda slowly ate her yogurt but she got it down. Now for the next step, keeping it down.

"I need to pee I'll be right back" Amanda announces

"No, I know that trick why don't you help me with my music" I suggest

"Okay!" Amanda says

The two if us made our way to the music room and we sat at the piano. As I started writing in my music book Amanda played around with the piano keys. All of a sudden I heard a beautiful song fill the air.

"What are you playing?" I ask

"Scars by Colton dixon" she replied

"You're amazing at the piano" I say

"Thanks" Amanda smiled

Instead of working on my new songs I ended up teaching Amanda new songs on the piano.

"I have an idea" I announce

"What's that?" Amanda asked

"We should go over to my moms house so you can meet my family" I suggest

"YES! I WANT MADDIE TO TEACH ME HOW TO DO AERIALIST MOVES" Amanda yells

"Amanda breathe" I laugh

"Sorry" she giggled

"I'm sure Maddie would love to teach you but you do realize my mom, eddie, and Dallas will be there too right?" I ask

"Duh!" She says like I'm an idiot

"Okay go get ready" I laugh

"Okay" Amanda says and shot out of the room and up the stairs

I went in my room to change and get my shoes then go downstairs.

"Took ya long enough" Amanda states

"shush it" I laugh

We went out to the car and Amanda insisted on driving.

"no Amanda slide on over" I say

"I don't want to be in a reckless driving accident" she replied

"Oh come on my driving isn't that bad" I said defensively

Amanda burst into laughter and I gave her the death glare.

"Demi just get in the car" she said

"Okay" I replied and sat on her lap

"Okay fine you win you can drive" Amanda groans and slides over

I stuck my tongue out at her and start driving

After what seemed like ages we finally made it to my moms house.

"Here we are!" I say

"I'm just gonna follow you" Amanda says

"Oh come on" I say and dragged Amanda inside.

"Guess who came to visit" I yell

"DEMI!!!!" My little sister madison screamed

"Hey mad how've you been?" I ask

"Great! Aerial has been awesome too!" She replies

"Momma!" I say and run over to her

"How've you been?" My mom asked

"Great" I smiled

I turned around to see Amanda behind a plant.

"Amanda come out from behind the plant so I can introduce everyone" I laugh

Amanda slowly came out from the plant and ran straight to me.

"Guys this is Amanda I adopted her" I say "Amanda this is my mom Dianna, my stepdad eddie, and my sisters Dallas and Madison"

"I know, I'm a Lovatic remember" Amanda says

"Oh hush it" I reply

Everyone said their hellos and now were all going out to the pool.

"Demi I don't want to get in the pool" Amanda whispers

"They won't judge you if anything they're going to want to help you" I say

"But I don't feel comfortable with them knowing yet" Amanda says

"Do you want me to tell them first before they see them all?" I ask "they're going to find out eventually

"I guess" Amanda sighs

"Alright get changed and I'll go talk to them" I say

Amanda went to get changed and I went to find everyone.

"Guys I need to talk to you about something important" I announce

"What is it?" Dianna asked

"I need to tell you guys something about Amanda and she's really scared about you guys knowing so don't say anything to her about it" I say

"Okay" they all agree

"Okay so she's going through all the stuff I went through and she's had a tough childhood" I explain

"Poor baby" Dianna says

"Hi guys" Amanda says smiling

"Hi Amanda" everyone smiled

"Did Demi tell you guys about me?" She asked

"Yes and none of us will ever judge you and we will support you and be here whenever you need us" Dianna said

"Thanks Now let's go swimming!" Amanda yelled

Everyone followed her out Maddie, dallas, and I chased her out and pushed her in the pool before jumping in. She splashed us and we started laughing like idiots. I'm so happy she's a part of the family.
