AMANDA POV
I wake up still cuddled up to Demi. All of yesterday's events come flooding back to me. I wish I knew if it was just a bad day or if something had triggered Demi. I know she said it was just a bad day but she could've lied. I've always got the thought of her going back downhill in the back of my mind. Her bad days always scare me. She stirs in her sleep then opens her eyes.
"Morning momma" I say
"Morning" she mumbles
She gets up and goes downstairs, probably to make coffee. I go get dressed then head downstairs too.
"What time are we going to the college?" I ask
"Around 2ish" Demi says
"Okay" I say
We're going to the community college so I can sign up for classes and take a tour today. I eat a pop tart real quick then run upstairs to feed Gracie. As I'm feeding her maddie walks in.
"Hey Amanda" maddie says
"Hey mad, everything okay?" I ask
"Yeah I'm just making sure I'm still watching the kids" maddie says
"You are" I say
"Okay cool" maddie says
"Mad are you sure you're okay?" I ask
"I am, I'm just nervous about moving back in with mom and dad" she tells me
"Everything will be fine and you know we're all a phone call away" I tell her
"I know, thank you" maddie says
"You're welcome" I say
"Amanda lets go" Demi calls
"Alright looks like we're leaving, call me if you need anything" I say
"I will, have fun" maddie says
"Hopefully" i laugh
I grab my stuff and run downstairs then Demi and I head out. Honestly, I'm a little nervous.
"Are you excited?" Demi asks
"Yeah, and nervous" I admit
"It'll be fine" Demi says "there's nothing to be nervous about"
"I know" I say
Demi pulls into a parking space at the college and we go in. We have to go to the auditorium for an initial meeting with everyone. About 10 minutes after finding our seats the guy in charge starts his speech. He tells us about all of the courses, scheduling, financial aid... A whole lot of information. That lasted at least an hour. He just released all of us so we're going to sign up for classes now. We have to meet up with an advisor to see what would be best to take right now. Demi and I walk into an office and sit down.
"Hello there" a guy says "I'm John"
"Hi john I'm Demi and this is my daughter Amanda" Demi says
"Hi" I say
"Have you thought of what major you want?" John asks
"Psychology" I tell him
"Okay" he says enthusiastically "how about we start you off with an English and psychology class"
"Works for me" I say "is it possible for me to have evening classes?"
"It sure is" John says
After getting my schedule for this semester together we head out.
"My baby is a college student" Demi states
"Mom" I laugh
As soon as we get home I hear a piercing scream...
I'm so so so sorry I haven't updated I've been so busy it's not even funny.
