I wake up to Bailey tossing and turning in the bed next to me. Luckily, i needed to get up anyway.
"Bailey wake up" I say as I shake her gently
Bailey wakes up with tear stained eyes.
"It was just a dream" I tell her
"It seemed so real" she tells me
"Whatever it was was a dream, everything's okay" I say
"What's going to happen now?" Bailey asks
"Well you're going to go back to your mom and whether she splits with your dad or not is up to her but I'm sure she will" I explain
"Oh okay" Bailey frowns
"Your dads in jail now he can't hurt you" I remind her
"I'm hungry" Bailey tells me
"Let's get food then" I smile
Bailey and I go downstairs and I get us poptarts.
"Amanda who's this?" Maddie asks
"My biological sister bailey" I say
"Whys she here?" Demi asks
"Something happened at home so I let her stay here over night" I say
"Oh okay" Demi says
"Ready to go home?" I ask Bailey
"I guess" Bailey says
I drive Bailey home and bring her inside. Angela runs over to her and hugs her tight.
"Thank you so much for taking her" Angela says
"Any time" I smile
I'm hoping our dad will stay locked up now, we don't need him fucking up our lives. Back at home we're trying to get things straightened out with Maddie and have everyone happy.
