Today marks 4 years since Demi left Timberline Knolls, I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for everyone when I say I'm so proud of her! Marissa and I are planning on taking her out to dinner tonight then I'm taking the kids over to diannas so Demi and marissa can have alone time. Maddie and I wanted to do something for Demi during the day today but she flew out to Chicago. She's trying to make it a point to fly out every January 28th or around that date to give a little speech and sing one of her songs at Timberline Knolls as a thank you. As of right now Demi will be back here around 6 so we'll leave at like 7 for dinner. We're taking her to her favorite restaurant. Maddie and I are putting together a collage of all kinds of different pictures that show how far Demi's come.
"Sissy I help?" Tristan asks
"Sure buddy" I say "how about you draw mommy a picture and we'll glue it on our paper"
"Okay" Tristan says
I give him a sheet of paper and a crayon, he starts drawing right away. Maddie and I add the last couple pictures, leaving a space for Tristans.
"Sissy done" he says
"Thanks buddy it's awesome!" I say
"it's mommy, momma, you, Gracie, and me" he says
"Mommy will love it so much" I say
"Yay" Tristan smiles then runs off
I laugh as maddie and I get up. We put all the stuff away and Demi's collage in a safe place.
"Guess who's home early" Demi yells
"Mommy" I hear Tristan yell
Demi laughs as Maddie and I go downstairs to greet her. I notice a dog sitting on the floor.
"Hi mom" I say
"Hi baby" Demi says
"Hi dem" Maddie says
"Hey baby girl" Demi says
"Why is there a dog behind you?" I ask
"Oh this is buddy, I had to get him he was too cute" Demi explains
"Oh okay" I laugh
"Hi babe" Marissa says as she walks Over
"Hi honey" Demi says then kisses Marissa
"Get ready to head out soon" marissa tells Demi
"Okay" Demi says
She goes upstairs, giving Maddie and I a chance to run up and grab the collage then run down and put it in the car. I go back upstairs and get Gracie ready and then myself.
"Is everyone ready?" Marissa yells
"Yeah" we all yell back then come downstairs
Demi and I get Tristan and Gracie in the car then climb in ourselves. Marissa drives to the restaurant then finds a place to park.
"You guys didn't have to take me out to eat it today isn't that important" Demi says
"Yes it is" Maddie, Marissa, and I say at the same time
"Okay okay well thank you" Demi laughs
We go in and Marissa gets us a seat in the back. Tristans big enough to sit with us so he's sitting with Demi and Marissa while Gracie's in the high chair by me.
"Hi I'm Christina I'll be your waitress today" our waitress says "what would you like to drink?"
"3 waters, a coke, and an apple juice" Marissa says
"Easy enough, I'll be right back" Christina says
Christina leaves to get our drinks then comes back 5 minutes later. By then we've figured out what we want to eat so we order that while she's over here. Halfway through dinner Maddie and I run out to the car to get Demi's present.
"Demi, Maddie and I have something for you" I say
"You do?" Demi asks
"Yep" Maddie says
We pull out the collage and give it to Demi.
"Wow this is Amazing" Demi says
"Thank you" Maddie and I say
"I'm so glad you added Tristans drawing on there" Demi says
"We would never not include him" I say
"Good" Demi says
After dinner we pile into the car and Marissa drives to diannas.
"You guys have everything right?" Marissa asks
"Yep" Maddie and I say
"Okay good"
"Have fun and behave we'll come get you later" Marissa says
Once we all get inside Marissa pulls off to take Demi home. They're probably gong to do the you know what, I don't even want to think about it ugh. Anyway I'm so happy Demi's 4 years strong today I'm insanely proud.
This chapter is pretty crappy but I wanted to get something up, happy unbroken day!
