I brushed it off and went to grab my bag from the front room where I had dropped when I had come in. I grabbed it then met the team on Tony's private plane. As the plane took off I put my shades on and kicked back on the couch. I crossed my arms over my chest and closed my eyes. I felt someone flop down on either side of me and then put their heads on my shoulders. I opened my eyes to find that it was Bucky and Tony. I closed my eyes again and went to sleep. Once we landed in Malibu no one said anything. We were all too tired to talk. Tony showed everyone to their rooms. I figured we were going to have to double up but since the mansion had been rebuilt there was enough room for everyone. I dropped my bag, changed then flopped on the bed to get some more sleep. The next morning, I got up for a run. On my way out the door I passed Natasha who had a box of doughnuts.

When I got back from my run I walked into the kitchen to find Tony eating a doughnut, Wanda munching on some watermelon and Clint and Natasha sipping on coffee. Sam, Bucky, and Rhodey were just walking in.

"Morning," I greeted.

"Rogers," Tony greeted back.

"Stark," I said. I nodded to the doughnut in his hand, "Is that the last doughnut with red, white, and blue sprinkles?"

He didn't say anything, but he did take a giant bite out of it.

I glared at him, "What did I tell you would happen if you ate the last doughnut with red, white, and blue sprinkles?"

Everyone but Wanda and Tony tensed.

"I'm a little foggy on it," Tony said through a mouthful of doughnut, "but I think it was something like raining down hell fire."

"That's right," I said.

Tony shrugged, "And here I am without an umbrella."

"I feel a storm brewing."

There was a pause where the air was thick with tension just before Wanda dropped her plate of watermelon and screamed. Tony and I bust out laughing. Tony then pulled out the box of doughnuts and handed it to me.

I grinned, "Thanks, doll face."

"Anything for you, sweetheart," he grinned back.

"You two have a very odd friendship," Clint commented.

Tony scoffed, "You're just jealous, Barton." Tony turned back to me, "So, I was going to hit some waves today. You joining me?"

I frowned, "My board went down with the house."

"They both did, but I bought new ones," he explained, "I even bought some for these moochers in case they knew how."

I nodded, "Let me get changed then I'll meet you out back." Tony nodded then headed out the back door.

As I walked out of the kitchen I heard Clint ask, "How the hell did I miss him wearing swim trunks?"

I laughed and went a changed into my own swim suit. Tony thought it was hilarious to get me an American flag one. He stopped laughing when I came out with it on. I put on my polarized shades as I walked onto the deck. Clint looked up at me and gaped.

"Damn, Cap," he breathed.

I smirked at him, "Sorry, Clint, I'm a married woman. Besides whiny birdman isn't my type."

The others burst out laughing as Clint pouted. Tony walked over and handed me my board.

"I didn't know you could surf," Bucky said.

"Which one?" I asked.

"Either of you."

Tony and I both shrugged. "Didn't seem important," I said.
