***A week later***
I leaned up against the counter and watched Rhodey try out the things that were going to help him walk.
"This the first pass," Tony said, "Give me some feedback. Anything you think off. Shock absorption. Cup holder?"
"You may want to think about some AC down there," Rhodey told him. He took another step and then fell. I moved pretty quick for being in a boot.
"No, no," Rhodey said, "Don't help me." He leaned up against the window. "138. 138 combat missions. That's how many I've flown. Every one of them could have been my last, but I flew them. Cause the fight needed to be fought. It's the same with these Accords, I signed because it was the right thing to do. And, yeah, this sucks, this is uh, this is a bad beat, but it hasn't changed my mind I don't think."
Tony held his hand out and helped Rhodey up. "You okay?"
"Yeah."
A delivery guy knocked on the window, "Are you Tony... Stank?"
I bit back a laugh as Rhodey said, "Yes. This is... this is Tony Stank. You're in the right place. Thank you for that!"
"We're never dropping that, by the way," I laughed.
"Table for one, Mr. Stank," Rhodey said as I helped him walk back to his starting spot, "Please by the bathroom."
Rhodey and I continued to laugh while Tony went to get his package.
"He wrote you a letter I bet," I called as he walked by. "Idiot," I mumbled. Rhodey smirked.
"Captain Rogers," Friday said, "Agent Barton has asked me to inform you that they have arrived."
"Thanks, Friday," I said, "Oh and Friday, please send T'Challa a thank you of some sort."
"Yes ma'am."
I turned to Rhodey, "You good if I leave?"
"I kind of want to see what they brought home," he said. I nodded and we walked down to the hangar. Steve walked off carrying an unconscious Bucky.
"Dear, did you drug my brother?" I asked.
"No," he said, "Natasha did."
I sighed, "Of course she did. Come on, I'll show you where you can put him. Wanda, Vision is moping in the common room, can you do something about that?"
"On it," she said taking off for the common room.
Sam held his hand out to help Rhodey walk back. I led Steve to Bucky's bedroom.
"Just dump him there," I said motioning to the bed.
Steve dropped Bucky on the bed then turned to look at me. He glanced back at Bucky, "Is he going to be okay?"
I shrugged, "Depends on what Natasha drugged him with. Come on, there's someone who you should meet that owes me a favor." I turned and walked out of the room with Steve following me.
"Mr. Stank," I said walking into the common room.
Rhodey snickered while Tony groaned.
"Must you?" he asked.
I grinned, "I must. Now remember how a few days ago your suit broke my leg. I told you that I would figure something out for you to make it up to me."
"Yeah," he said suspiciously, "Please tell me it's not going to be you calling me Mr. Stank all the time?"
I shook my head, "Nah, I want you to build Steve a new arm."
"Sure okay," Tony replied, "If he's here does that mean...?"
