***Three days later***
"Cap!" Pinky called, "We got a call coming in from New York. It's Peggy."
"Give me that," I said taking the phone from him, "Agent Carter, to what do I owe the honor."
"I need the 107th to meet me at the Polish side of the Russian border," she said.
"Why? Are we proving a point to the boys at work?"
"Somewhat. We're looking into Leviathan. Need your help."
"We'll meet you there."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. One last thing, did you punch Howard again?"
She laughed, "I think you did a good enough job with that one."
I laughed, "Good. See you at the border, Agent."
"See you at the border, Cap. Oh password is eagle."
"You got it."
I hung up the phone and handed it back to Pinky. I turned to my team, "Alright ladies, listen up. Peggy needs us to meet her at the Polish side of the Russian border. Let's get a move on."
They all nodded and we started our way to the border. After a good day of driving we made it. I stayed back while the boys moved to engage the people that had landed.
"Emu," Dum Dum called.
"What?" some guy with Carter asked.
"Ostrich, man," Sawyer said.
"Shut up," Dum Dum snapped, "Emu."
"Carter," Sawyer called, "Dugan forgot the password again."
"Password is eagle, you apes," Carter said.
"Oh, hi, Peggy," Dugan said.
"Fellas," she responded, "Thompson, that's Dum Dum Dugan. Jack Thompson, Mike Li, Rick Ramirez, this is 'Junior' Juniper, 'Pinky' Pinkerton, 'Happy Sam' Sawyer, you seem to know Dum-Dum Dugan. The 107th, our tactical team."
"You guys are the Howling Commandos," Ramirez breathed.
"I hate that name," Sawyer groused.
"I came up with that name," Junior protested.
"Dugan," Li stated, "you fought side-by-side with Captain America, didn't you?"
I could hear the grin on Dugan's face, "Still do."
I stepped out from the cover of the trees I was behind. "Gentlemen," I greeted.
"Captain Rogers?" Agent Thompson questioned.
"Agent," I said, "to answer your questions, yes Captain America is a woman."
He shook off his shock and started giving orders, "I'm running point for the SSR. We head due east till we hit the border."
I crossed my arms over my chest, "We'll hit a wall of Reds before we reach the border. Let's head up into Lithuania, cross over into Russia at Ashmyany."
"You plan on walking halfway across Lithuania?" Thompson asked.
"Well, you can if you want," I said, "But me? I'm taking these. Move out fellas. Peg, you coming?"
"Right behind you." We all climbed into the two trucks.
"Did you bring what I asked for?" Dugan asked Peggy.
She smiled and pulled out a bottle, "From my own private stash."
"Ah," Dugan drawled, "Attagirl. See the Germans are geniuses when it comes to beer, but no one knows bourbon like the U. S. of A." He poured it into three glasses. He handed Peggy and I both one. "Cheers."
