No one said a word until we were all back, showered and sitting in mine and Tony's room. Tony was staying away from me. I sunk on to the bed and put my face in my hands.

"They're going to arrest me again," I said.

"No one is getting arrested," Clint said.

"What do you mean again?" Bruce asked.

"When Shield first found me back in 2002," I explained, "Eyepatch had me arrested. I was a danger to the public. A danger to myself. Hydra was inside my head. I had no idea who I was or who anyone was. Just like tonight."

"But you didn't kill anyone tonight or that night," Natasha stated.

"I took down ten of Shield's best agents that night," I told her.

"Yeah, I was one of them," Clint stated.

"Sorry," I apologized.

Clint waved it off, "Don't worry about it. That's the reason I agreed to be a part of the team."

"Because I kicked your ass?" I asked.

He shrugged, "No one said I had bright ideas."

I snorted, "No you don't."

He gaped, "You're not supposed to agree with me."

"Clint," Natasha snapped, "Shut up."

I groaned, "Eyepatch is going to throw me in some jail where I will never be seen again."

"That's a little dramatic, don't you think, Captain?" Coulson asked as he walked into the room.

"I let my little brother be taken by Hydra," I said standing up, "Correction, I handed him over. I pulled a gun on Tony and was going to kill him until Natasha told me to stand down. So if I were him I would throw me in jail too. I'm not fit to lead this team anymore."

"That's what this is about then," Coulson said.

"What?"

"You're afraid that you're not fit to lead this team," he explained, "Things happen, Kennedy, things you can't always control. What Hydra did tonight is not your fault. You didn't pull that gun, Hydra did. Something also tells me that that isn't the first time Tony has been on the receiving end of one of your relapses."

"No it's not," Tony said coming to stand next to me, "It probably won't be the last. Its definitely not the first time she has pulled a gun on me."

"You had your armor though," Clint said.

Tony shook his head, "No, I didn't. Not in the beginning and not when she took my toaster out."

"For the record, one of those times you threw the toaster at me," I stated.

Tony shrugged, "Yeah, maybe I did. You still shot it."

"You threw it at me, what was I supposed to do?"

"Not shoot it!"

"Guys!" Natasha shouted, "Argue about the toaster later. We have bigger problems like getting Bucky back."

"Right, sorry," I said, "I would like to put on record though, that when and if we get Steve back he owes me ten dollars."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Clint asked.

"Random memory come back?" Tony asked.

"Yeah," I smirked, "Something like that."

He gave me a weird look but didn't say anything. Coulson checked his watch then turned for the door.
