Charlotte's P. O. V.

We had casserole for lunch and I may not be an expert at western food, but this was definitely a heavenly meal. I'm so glad that I'm bonding so well with my siblings. Greg is such a great brother, Manny is so cute and Rodrick is pretty nice, too. Only that he stares at me a bit too much. But I guess that's normal, since I get those looks all the time.

"Hey, we're setting off soon so you might want to hurry up." Greg reminded me as he passed by my room.

"Oh alright, I'm almost done." I replied, hurriedly slipping on my grip socks for the trampoline park before grabbing my water bottle and valuables. I took my Kanken mini backpack, which Mom mailed to me for my tenth birthday, and put my stuff inside.

I rushed down the stairs where everyone was waiting for me.

"Everyone's here now. Let's go." Greg said, heading towards the door. This time, however, we headed towards the garage.

"Woah, that's a pretty big car." I gasped in awe as the garage door lifted. It was a proud, grey Honda. I've never been in such a big car before.

"Ah no it's nothing. A big car is necessary for a big family." Frank chuckled. He opened the doors and everyone scrambled in. I scooted into the back with Manny, as Mom and Dad took the front. Greg, however, was stuck outside.

"Oh dear. Charlotte can you and Rodrick squeeze a bit?" Mom, said, waving us to the side.

We squeezed to the side as much as we could but half of Greg was still stuck outside.

"Oh wait. How about I carry Manny in my lap?" I suggested.

"Hm, good idea. This way we can make it in one trip." Greg joked, sending a ripple of laughter throughout the car. I carried Manny onto my lap and Greg got in. Thud! The car door closed shut, and we were off.

Everyone was silent for a while, either staring off into blank space or concentrating on driving. I looked out of the window as we passed by a variety of houses. As we progressed, however, I noticed that Plainview was becoming more and more crowded.

"Mom, are we heading to the heart of Plainview?" I asked.

"Yes. The trampoline park is located beside Plainview Shopping Mall." Mom replied.

"The site of the trampoline park used to be a back-to-school department store, but after the town council expanded the mall it relocated to inside the mall. It's really big, takes up a whole level and we're actually going there later for you kids to get some new stationery." Dad explained as he drove.

"That makes sense. How much longer do we have till we reach, Dad?" I asked. Dad froze, not knowing how to react me calling him 'Dad', but quickly responded, "In about five minutes, I guess."

We travelled in silence once again, and sure enough, five minutes our car was parked outside Plainview Shopping Mall. We got out of the car, and were immediately greeted by the trampoline park.

It was about two storeys high, and on top of the entrance was a sign which screamed in multi-coloured letters, "PLAIVIEW TRAMPOLINE PARK" and at the bottom wrote: "By CANTABILE ENTERTAINMENT".

"Wow this is cool!" Rodrick exclaimed. I nodded in agreement.

"Alright everyone, when we go in we have to stick together. It's opening day so there's going to be a huge crowd." Sad instructed, before heading in. The cold blast of the air-conditioner greeted me but I immediately got jostled around by people.

"Excuse me," a girl said as she pushed past me. I did the same and eventually found Dad at the ticketing counter with everyone else showing the cashier the piece of paper.

"Frank Heffley, with five family members, time slot is one to three." the cashier confirmed.

"Yes. By the way, is there any lockers that we can use to store our things?"

"Yes, after I give the wrist bands you can head over to your left where there are cubby holes or alternatively, you can rent lockers." the cashier explained patiently.

"Fantastic. Thank you so much." Frank thanked the cashier before she proceeded to give all of us a yellow wristband.

"Mom, give me your bag I'll help you find a cubby hole to put our stuff." I offered ,taking her bag.

"Oh thank you so much, Charlotte." Mom said.

"Hey Mom, can I go find Rowley? He has the same time slot as us." Greg asked.

"No problem, everyone, meet in ten minutes at the steps." Mom hollered over the ruckus, pointing at the flight of steps that led to the trampolines. Woah, they were huge. Without wasting another moment, I hurried towards the cubby holes.

"Ok Mom, I'll meet you in a while." I said as I hurried off, but a hand quickly blocked me.

"Wait, take my purse." my sister, Heather muttered, her eyes glued to her phone. I grabbed her purse and I hurried off. The crowd's really huge and I don't want to use excess money to rent lockers.

"Excuse me." I said, jostling past some people. A girl which I jostled past, however, caught my eye. She looked really familiar, but I can't recall who she is. Oh well, I guess I can always check later.

Luckily, when I went over to the cubby holes, there was a few left. I put my family's stuff into one of them nicely.

Just then, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I spun around. It was Angelina Rose. She's very quiet, but she's really nice.

"Oh hey Angelina. You're here as well?" I asked, smiling at her. Angelina nodded, gave a quick smile and rushed off. I chuckled, typical Angelina.

"Excuse me. Sorry." someone pushed past me and I looked up. It was the same girl that I saw just now.

Oh my God. I know who she is.

She is Charlotte Chang, the dancer-influencer on Instagram, with more than four hundred thousand followers.
