The One / A Divergent Fan-Fiction

First of all, welcome to this story!

I have started writing this story about five years ago with one of my best friends, Vittoria. She's my Parabatai and probably my number one supporter when it comes to writing. We were and still are crazy fangirls and we had this idea since we loved Divergent so much and I loved Eric. I know I couldn't finish this story or even practice writing if it wasn't for her, so Vitto, I love you, you're amazing! And this chapter is dedicated to you!

I also can't not talk about another great friend I have from high school, Yağmur whom I also love so much. One of the things we most bonded over was reading fanfictions on Wattpad and especially the ones on Eric. When I stopped writing this she asked me to read it then pressured me to keep writing because she loved it. So the first chapter of the book is dedicated to her.

Because of the supports of Vittoria and Yağmur I here I am, finally finishing and publishing this book. I'm so grateful to them so the whole story is dedicated to both them! Ily girls so much :)

Back then my English wasn't as good, given that it is not my first language. So, even though I'll try to fix all of my mistakes please be aware of some either grammatical mistakes.

I'd like to thank everyone who clicked on this story to read it, it's the first proper story that I finished writing and I'm so excited to share it with everyone.

As I wrote this, along with all of my other fanfictions, I try to stay as close to the canon things as possible but given how this is a fiction of mine and it needs to fit my story arch, I have changed some things. So keep that in mind if some things are different than the books or the movies. However, if you do spot some mistakes or plot holes please feel free to point them out and I'll try my best to either explain or fix it.

I get that the first few parts might come as slow or boring but I swear once the initiation starts everything gets better and feisty. Please bear with the first parts and I'm sure you won't regret it :)
