My Jan Valentine

Hide and seek

Jan and I have been separated. He is being held off by that blond girl, while I am being hunted by Alucard.

I'm nervous to finally face Alucard like this but it's to protect Jan and our baby. I have to do this even if I die! Of course, the thought of leaving Jan and our baby alone pains me but if I can take down Alucard then there will be nothing else they will have to worry about.

"You're so confident now that you've awakened, but what you regret to realize is that I've been alive longer than you have little architect girl. Killing me won't be easy." I hear Alucard's voice from somewhere close by.

"I realize that but... I've gotta try. I mean what's your problem anyway, we've done nothing to you from the start!" I say my breath wavering from adrenaline.
I feel the air shift around me and then Alucard appears right in front of me. I feel my heart sink. I'm scared.
"Architect girl, your so mesmerizing it will be a real shame killing you. I'm surprised you could even change. You really do surprise me." Alucard says while twirling my hair in his fingers.
I'm so scared I can't react. Alucard leans in and hugs me. I know he's toying with me right now. As he continues to hug me I feel his body jolt.
"Oh... we have an interruption." He releases me from his embrace and turns around to see who is there. It's Pickle!
"No Pickle run! You can't win this fight!" I yell in a panic. If Pickle fights Alucard he will die!
Alucard begins laughing hysterically.
"Leave her alone. I'll only ask once." Pickle threatens as if he's stronger than Alucard.
Alucard scoffs, "You dumb fuck. Acting all confident making demands of me. I could end your life so quick." Pickle shrugs. Alucard's face turns cold and heartless quickly as he draws closer to pickle. "My life is meaningless compared to hers, she is a pureblood." Pickle says with determined eyes. Alucard stops in his tracks towards pickle and turns to face me again.
"Isn't that strange? A lowly vampire like him could sense your blood power. I'll worry about that fool when I've gotten to toy with you a little longer." Alucard declares as he once again walks towards me. As he leans towards me I slap his hand away and to my surprise, Alucard's hand is cut clean off his body and flys into the forest. I did that?! Alucard examines his wound with absolute interest. He chuckles and goes to reach for me with the other hand but this time I grab it and with my spare hand I thrust it through his torso. Alucard coughs up blood with a smile. "How entertaining! You've become so powerful in such a short amount of time! I hope you'll soon reconsider your position." He says devilishly. I step between Alucard and pickle so that Alucard doesn't strike pickle. "Mistress please don't protect me. My life is meaningless compared to yours!" Pickle says with stress in his tone. "Pickle, you've been quite kind to me. You've helped my family and me in many ways, so protecting you is truly something I don't mind doing. It's something I want to do." Pickles eyes light up almost as if he's been given a surge of new strength! He steps in front of me and stands his ground firmly. "Don't worry mistress! You run and find Jan. If I have to lay down my life here in order to buy you some time so be it!" Pickle declares confidently. I gently place my hand on his shoulder and smile softly. "Do not fret! I'll finish off Alucard myself if he refuses to leave my family and I alone." The quiet Alucard chuckles at my threat. "Haha can't you see, you have no hope of defeating me with your newborn powers! I have lived many more years than you may ever live my dear." He tells me with an exaggerated smile upon his face. What a devil! "Shut up! I wasn't speaking with you. Pickle, please go check up on Jan's fight for me. Make sure he's doing alright." I say while turning back to face pickle with a soft smile. He bows politely and then zooms off into the depths of the forest.

"He's probably dead. She's dumb but she's skilled. That little police girl." Alucard says while picking at his teeth nonchalantly. What can I do to end this? I'm sure Jan can beat that blonde chic but I know he can't beat Alucard... I don't think I can either. My best bet is probably just to buy Jan time so that he can run away with Pickle and the baby. The only flaw to that is that they will be chased for the rest of their lives. "You know... I really wish I didn't have to kill you. I've seen your mind though, you'd lay down your life every single time if it was for that scumbag, microchipped, lab rat." Alucard says, hot hatred on his tongue as he speaks of Jan. Microchipped, lab rat...Alucard is so disrespectful. As I'm in thought Alucard spares no time and approaches me swiftly. "Spaced out before your enemies? That's no way to protect your family." Alucard mocks with a wicked grin upon his face. "I tell you what. You give me your baby, and I'll leave you both alone for another year." Alucard continues, his offer an impossible and frankly ridiculous one. "Like I'd ever! You can just leave us alone? You need to take something to be satisfied?!" I shout out with a hot feeling in mg body almost as if mg blood is boiling.
"Well that's a shame... cause I already have your baby. This was all just a distraction. Vampire babies are abomination's, my real objective was taking your little baby and I have succeeded. So as a token of my appreciation to you making this so easy, I will give you and your ugly, chipped, boy toy another full year."

My heart drops... this can't be real... how could this have happened. Before I can say another word Alucard is gone. I can't even move right now, my body is completely frozen. He took my baby?! He took... I mean... he... what is Jan going to think about this? What's he going to do with my baby? Is he... no... he's... he's going to kill my baby?! This thought alone makes me sick to my stomach. This can't be real. I wish this were another dream.

Snapped out I rush as fast as I can, back to the
Cabin where I left Lukas. I burst through the cabin doors and look around but... even before I entered I knew, Lukas wasn't here. I begin sobbing as I drop to my knees. How could this happen.
