The next morning I wake to my brother who was shaking me quietly.
"Morning Para." He mumbles. He never has been a morning person. I give him a small smile. "It's time to get ready for school. I will feed Rimmy." Daniel, my brother, adds. I nod and thank him as I slowly climb out of bed. My brother always lays my clothes out on my bed. Today I felt jeans and blouse. I smile and get dressed. I head downstairs and he drives me to school.
When I got into third block Luka, I could tell, was watching me. I tried to sit as far away from him as I could. I leaned deep in the chair. Eventually his voice caresses my face as he says.
"I'm sorry if I scared you the other day. I didn't mean to but I just wanted to help." I only nod in his general direction and hope that it shuts him up. No luck. "I really want to be your friend. Please allow me to help you when you need it. I will be here." I nod again. He sighs and leans away from me. I relax once again. This is already a long day. And I still got two more classes!
