Chapter 17- Chase

I pace the cage for three days. Para is till with them, making my wolf go insane. Rena has been trying her hardest to make me calm down. It didn't work. Finally, they returned her. Her eyes were squeezed shut, and she was holding a chocolate haired women's hand tightly. I sigh when she is once again in my sight. She stops by the gates and hugs the women. The women hugs her back and whispers that he will love her no matter what. She doesn't look convinced. They open the gate and she gets pushed in. I catch her and kiss her lightly on the lips.

"Hello, Beautiful." I whisper. She smiles lightly. her eyes as still squeezed shut. I want to see her beautiful ocean eyes. "Can you open your beautiful ocean blue eyes for me, Love?" I ask gently. She shakes her head hard. I glare at the women who was watching with sad eyes. "What the heck did you do to her?"

"Chase, she didn't do anything. She was kind to me." Para whispers. The women smiles sadly and walks away.

"Why won't you open your eyes?"

"You'll hate them."

"Never. I love your eyes."

"You won't anymore. They changed..." I kiss her.

"I will always love your eyes." She takes a deep breath and opens them. I practically scream. Her ocean blue has turned into a golden meadow. I love it and hate it at the same time. They are glowing, pulsing, and wolf eyes. She winced, as if she can see my horrified face. I was speechless.

"Chase... Your so handsome..." She whispers touching my cheek. Shock spreads thourgh me. Can she see me? Her eyes travel up and down my body, my wolf was willing to show off but he was confused. She blushed when she got to the top of my legs.

"You can see?" I ask. She smiles.

"They did some sort of surgery and that's why my eyes changed... I can see but for a price." I look at her beautiful golden meadow eyes. She was still beautiful, if not more. But that's not what matters. She is strong, funny, loyal, caring, and she for me. Only me. I smile and pull her to me, I lean down to kiss her but she puts a finger to my lips.

"I haven't broken up with my boyfriend yet... No kissing." I growl playfully. She giggles. Rena comes over and gives her a hug. I smile at little Rena and open my arms for a hug to. She jumps in my arms and hugs me tight.

"I miss mommy." I rub her back.

"I know, but I am so proud of you. You are fighting like a good girl I know. We will get out of here. I promise." She nods in my shoulder. I put her down and smile at Para. A guard comes in an days lights out. I curl up and pat beside me, Para curls up and Rena joins her.
