I rolled over on the bed, expecting to be greeted by the mattress. Instead I felt his body under me. My eyelids fluttered open and in front of me was his perfect face.

"Morning. You look beautiful as always." His voice drifted to my ears.

I blushed and shoved myself away from him. "Don't talk to me like we're lovers." I grumbled as I tried not to speak very much since I just woke up.

"Lovers? Hmmm that can be arranged." Nash pulled me back towards him and then it became a cliché tickle fight. Well he did the tickling and I attempted to escape his grasp.

"N - Nash... s-st-op!" I pushed on his chest with as much force as I could and surprisingly, he stopped.

"That wasn't funny." I pouted.

"You laughed." He had a toothy grin on his face.

"That was forced happiness. It's never funny." I stuck my tongue out at him and crawled off the bed.

It felt odd trying to have a friendly relationship with Nash. In the back of my mind I kept thinking of him as a threat. Sirens went off in my ears when he touched me, as if they were warning me that his touch could be deadly.

"Where are you going?" Nash asked as he watched me walk out the bedroom door.

"I didn't get to see much of this cottage last night. So I thought it would only be right to explore it now. Plus i need to find a shower and some clothes." I stated.

He immediately got up and pulled open a dresser drawer. He pulled out a pair of lacey jean shorts, a floral, strapless bikini, and a white tshirt. Then he pulled my arms out and dumped the clothes in them.

"How do you know this will fit me?" I asked with rosy cheeks.

"Good guess. Don't worry, it's all new." He said pointing to the floral bikini. I felt so embarrassed as i trudged down the hall.

"Its the door in the middle." He shouted to me. I turned the handle and sure enough it was a bathroom.

It wasn't nearly as extravagant as Nash's bathroom, but i liked it. It had an ocean theme and it felt like I could swim in it forever.

Swimming

I missed the water so much, but it was too dangerous to swim in the beaches of LA. Lately there had been so many shark attacks that the world closed most of the beachs. I used to surf with my family years ago and I can still remember how it felt to catch a good wave.

My thoughts drifted back to reality as i hopped into the shower. I lathered my body with the frilly body wash that smelled like a beach. And quickly washed my hair.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body. The mirror was fogged up from the steam. I never noticed when i had the water too hot; the heat didn't bother me.

I slipped on the bikini and pants. There was a knock on the door as i pulled on the top.

"Yes?" I yelled towards the door.

"I know you're a girl, but dang you take long showers! That was half an hour! Try to hurry, I want to show you this place." I searched the bathroom for a clock. My phone was still sitting in the bedroom.

Had I really taken that long? Oh well, it's been a rough couple of weeks. I deserved a relaxing shower.

I found an unopened toothbrush in a cabinet along with some mascara and red lip stick. I took time brushing my teeth and applying the makeup. When I was finished I stared at myself in the mirror knowing I had forgotten something.
