Epilogue

I stop my car outside PIA's building. They were already waiting for me. Men dressed in black walked my way. Among them, one stood out the most.

"You made the right choice," Ywon said.

Tinitigan ko lang ito ng masama at nilagpasan. Masyado na akong pagod para makipagsabatan sa kanya ngayon. Naglakad na ako papasok at ramdam ko ang presensya ni Ywon na naglalakad sa likuran ko.  Nakaabot na kami sa elevator ngunit nanatili lang kaming tahimik at hindi kinakausap ang isa't-isa.

Pagkapasok ko sa office ni Sir Khaii at kita kong nakabaling ito sa labas ng bintana. Nang maramdaman niya ang pagpasok ko ay lumingon siya akin. Ngunit hindi gaya ng noon, sinalubong niya ako ng halata ang dismaya sa kanyang mukha.

"That was quick... Let me guess, you can't continue this mission anymore. The Gang wouldn't accept you either. Kaya ito nalang ang  natirang pagpipilian mo."

I stayed quiet and I heard Ywon let out a deep breathe. "You betrayed us. Malapit na tayo sa dulo e, maabot na sana natin yun. Pero anong ginawa mo? Too bad it has to end this way. You'll be sent to silent prison."

Namilog ang mata ko roon. Silent prison was not a normal prison. Kung sino man ang dinadala roon, ay hindi na nakakabalik pang muli. It was situated somewhere on an island near Thailand. Only deadly criminals were sent there. The name itself says it all. Prisoner dies there, slowly, silently. No one ever finds out about them.

"Wasn't she getting 20 years in---"

"The higher-ups have decided to send her there," putol niya sa sinasabi ni Ywon.

"Galit na galit ang nakatatas sa kanya. Alam mo 'yan, Agent 003."

Tumingin ako kay Ywon. Somehow, he looked concern about me. Like he didn't want me to end up in that place. Really, Ywon? Is that what your face really show?

"I grew up listening to these 'higher ups'. What do these higher-ups of PIA wants, justice or peace? Pero ang totoo, wala doon ang sagot. The truth is, they always want power and money." seryosong wika ko..

Tinignan ko silang pareho, mata sa mata. Nanatili namang blanko ang kanilang mukha. "And we, Agents are their puppies. I always listened but I right now, I can't do that anymore. PIA is supposed to protect this nation and not controlling Mafia through me. That makes PIA mafia itself."

"Don't act like a goodie. You've got a lot of dirt and blood on your hands.

"And I don't mind getting more on them. What I hate are lies. Buong buhay ko naging kasinungalingan lang. Nothing I did was right. Sure I caught all these criminals. But what happened afterward? Their Gang would pay PIA millions to get them out. And PIA? of course they'll accept the money. Duon naman sila uhaw diba? Sa pera. Hindi na nila tatanggihan iyon." wika ko.

Ito nanaman ang nararamdaman kong sakit. Hindi na nga ako pinatulog nito kagabi. Mugto ang aking mata at masakit imulat.

"My Father never wanted me to join PIA. But PIA told me he did. I was only five when I was told I that sleepwalked and pulled his heart out. Ano sa tingin niyo ang magiging epekto 'non sa sa akin? It messed me up. I'm sick of PIA and I'm sick of lies. I hate it. At bakit sa tingin niyo hindi ko matapos tapos itong binigay niyo sa akin? Because I won't leave the man I love for this shitty Agency."

Kita ko ang pagtataka sa mukha ni Sir Khaii at pari rin ni Ywon. I pulled something on my pocket, it was my Agent ID. "Starting today, I'm not Agent 008, a dog of PIA." tinapon ko sa lamesa ang hawak kong ID.

"I am Samantha Brixx Delos Reyes Lee. The underboss of Bulletproof Gang."

Nanlaki ang kanilang mata. Agad akong sinuway ni Ywon. "Agent 008, stop this. PIA is always right."

Tumingin ako sa kanya. "If this is right... Then I chose the wrong side."

"Take a moment and look at where you're standing. You entered PIA's base. You think you can leave easily?" si Sir Khaii.

I grinned at what he just said. "It'll be a piece of cake."

Sa sandaling pagkasabi ko 'non ay biglang bumukas ang pintuan. Nabaling ang kanilang tingin roon kung saan maraming lalaki ang biglang pumasok sa loob. Some had guns on their hands, some had daggers and iron rods. One of them spoke while chewing gum.

"We're at your service, Princess."

There were Bulletproof's gangsters. Here to help me, their underboss.

Laglag ang pangang nagsalita si Khaii. "H-How did you---"

"Ahh, kinanti namin ang mga Agents niyo! Hindi naman pala ganoon katigas yung guwardya niyo, e." panunuya ng isang namumuno sa kanila.

Just then, more Agents rushed inside and started to fight with my men. It was a war zone. Not only in this office but in the whole building. The Gangsters were fighting the Agents. Nagkakaguluhan na sa loob kaya naisipan kong umalis na roon.  Palabas na ako ng bigla akong habulin at pigilan ni Ywon. Wala namang ginawa si Khaii at nagtago lang ito sa ilalim ng kanyang lamesa. Agad niyang kinuha ang kanyang telepono at may kung sinong tinagawan.

"Manila Base is under attack! Send in back up!" he had to shout since everything here is in chaotic. 

Tuluyan na akong nakalabas sa loob ng office. Mahahabulan na sana ako ni Ywon ng my kung sinong humatak sa kanyang balikat at sapilitang pinaharap siya nito sa kanya. This person punched Ywon real hard that it made him fell in the ground. Agad pinunasan ni Ywon ang dugo mula sa kanyang labi at tumingin roon sa lalaking gumawa sa kanya 'non.

"You and I... Have a score to settle." nanlilisik ang mga matang sabi sa kanya ni Vaughnn.

Hindi ko na sila pa pinanood at naglakad na ako paalis. By now, I was already out of the building. Tinanggal ko ang pagkakatali ng buhok ko at hinayaang bumagsak ito na marahang sinayaw ng hanging sumalubong sa akin. Tumingin ako sa kalangitan. Huminga ako ng malalim at ngumiti. I looked down on the staircase where a large car stopped.

Someone opened the door and Nashton comes out. He had his hands on his pocket and looked up at me. He gave me a genuine yet boyish smile. I smiled back at him and started to walk downstairs.  My step started to get faster and faster as I reached him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked up to him. "Malaya na ako." hindi ko maiwasang hindi mapangiti. Malaya na ako sa lahat. Sa lahat ng bagay. Wala ng magdidikta sa akin sa kung anong dapat kung gawin. Wala ng magbabawal sa akin para maging masaya.

Nashton took his hands out of his pocket and wrapped his hands as well around my waist. Bringing me closer. "Yes you are, my Princess."

Ngumiti ako. "I love you so much."

"I love you more than that."

Slowly our lips met. I know Nashton could feel my smile through our kiss. I couldn't remember the last time I had been this happy. I can finally love him. Freely and without any fear.

"I found my happy ending."
