Chapter 5

Chaeyoung was smiling while running, which surprised everyone who she passed by. Her phone was vibrating but she didn't put any attention to it. She was focused on getting to Mr. Jung's room.

Once she arrived, she tried to catch her breathe, taking deep breathes as she held the door knob. She twisted it and opened the door to reveal Mr. Jung sitting on his chair while papers were on his table, students were still not in his room, which was great.

"Oh, Chaeyoung. You got your decision?" He asks once he notices Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung nods.

"That was fast." He frowns, he thought she was going to say no but he was surprised.

"My decision is, yes. I'm going. Not as a judge, but as a performer. I want to know the feeling of painting in front of others."

Mr. Jung smiled widely as he jumped in delight, he started clapping his hands like a kid who won a lollipop, "great! I mean, really great! Wonderful!" He exclaims as he jumps up and down and laughs. "I know you're shy and all but thank you, really. Thank you for considering." He says and hugs Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung felt awkward but she just caress his back and tap his shoulder once she was suffocated from the hug. She really isn't a fan of extroversy and such.

"I'm sorry but I'm too happy! I mean, this is your last year in University and you finally decided to attend the Arts Showcase!"

Chaeyoung smiled timidly, "you got to thank someone else for motivating me." She said and thought back to the ballerina she met in the garden.

Mr. Jung hummed and continued humming louder, he cannot express his joy right now and Chaeyoung finally decided to check her phone because it was vibrating since she was in the garden.
