Chapter 38

Mina walked back inside her office and exhaled a huge amount of breath she didn't know she was holding. She sat back on her swivel chair and sat there for what felt like hours but in reality were just minutes. She suddenly straightened her posture and opened the drawer, she grabbed the picture frame again and saw the picture of the three of them with Chaeyoung.

She caressed it with her thumb and smiled weakly.

"Three girls who fell in love with the same girl.. what a nice story we got but is Chaeyoung ready for it?" Mina talked to herself, her voice was too small for anyone to even hear. "Jiji... please give me an answer.." Mina sighed and placed the picture frame on her table, she closed the drawer.

"Even though Eunji needs you.. I also do.." She sulked but then shook her head and grabbed her phone and dialed Sana's number.

"Yahallo~ what can I do for Mina ballerina?"

Mina hummed, "are you with Tzuyu?"

"Yes I am, mam! What do you want?"

"Can you take a break and stop by my office? I need someone to talk to."

"Is this about Chaeyoung?" Sana asked, her voice suddenly got serious.

"Well.. she's related."

"Sure, we'll be there in a minute, oh! Should I bring Jihyo-unnie?"

Mina hummed again, "if she's free then sure."

"If you want her to be free then release her from being a staff in your coffee shop!" Sana joked.

Mina chuckled, "it was her who wanted to work there. She really loves coffee."

"As I said, we'll be there in a minute. Wait for us~"

And with that, the call ended and Mina put her phone down on the table. She sighed and looked at her ceiling and imagined Chaeyoung smiling that also made her smile. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh of contentment.

It always works, she thought. Seeing Chaeyoung smiling always made her smile like an idiot and she's not going to regret her actions. Being with Chaeyoung made her not blame herself but she still feels guilty.

Chaeyoung sat on her bed inside the room, all of them were silent once she arrived and she really felt the serious mist inside the room.

Chaeyoung sighed, "shouldn't we address the elephant in the room?"

Jungkook gasped dramatically, "you didn't have to talk about Jin-hyung like that." He joked and Jin slapped his shoulder.

"Ya! I'm older than you!" Jin joked back.

Chaeyoung smiles lightly but she still doesn't feel alright. "Did something happen while I was away?"

Namjoon hummed, "I think Taehyung has something to say." He said and all of them looked at Taehyung who sat on the corner then Irene stood up and pushed the boy beside Chaeyoung's bed.

Taehyung sighed, "I..I'm sorry.." he averted his gaze towards the floor, he fiddled with his fingers, "that I yelled at you.."

Chaeyoung nodded, "it's fine but I was shocked to see you in that state."

Taehyung's eyes remained on the floor and his jaw was clenching, he was mad at himself because he yelled at his precious little sister, Chaeyoung. He felt like crying because he never wanted Chaeyoung to see how scary he becomes when he's angry but it happened anyways.
