"Those who take ballet classes are special, I've mentioned it to Taehyung yesterday."
"But why are they special?"
Namjoon let out a throaty chuckle and cleared his throat again, "sorry, my throat hurts." He excused and coughed.
"Ballet is just a performance of some kind of dance to other people but this kind of 'dance' is difficult. Imagine, dancing to tell a story to people, a musical with you on the spotlight, slowly hurting your legs and your toes because of how flexible a ballerina should be."
Chaeyoung gaped at him.
"Anyways, you'll know once you get to know Lee Eunji. Are there anymore questions?"
Chaeyoung shook her head, "one more." She said with a tone of curiousity which caught Namjoon's attention. "Does this girl... have perfect attendance? It's like I haven't seen her in the campus."
Jin shook his head, "no she doesn't." This time he answered with a serious voice. "She usually attends college with a schedule. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, she skips her classes on normal days."
"What? But February 13 was on Monday, how come I saw her?"
"Ah, it's because the dance department personally talked to her to attend the event to showcase ballet." Namjoon shrugged.
"Then, i-is she here?" Chaeyoung stuttered, her heart was really beating fast. She doesn't know why but she wants to meet this girl. ASAP.
Namjoon shook his head, "I'm afraid not. Whenever she goes to campus, she passes by our office to inform us that she's here. Besides, she's also a very important part of this University."
"How so?" Taehyung asked.
"That, we cannot tell others." Namjoon answered with sincerity.
Taehyung nodded, "it's fine."
"Thanks for answering our questions." Chaeyoung stood up and bowed.
Namjoon smiled, "no need to thank me. I'll be right here if you have more questions."
Chaeyoung nodded and she pulled Taehyung with her.
"So? You got your answers now?" Taehyung asked.
Chaeyoung nodded but soon shook her head, "I'm quite curious as to why that Lee Eunji has the same face as Mina's."
"Mina? That girl we met on the rooftop?" Taehyung asked with a hint of familiarity in his tone.
"Yeah. She kinda has a resemblance of Mina's face."
Taehyung chuckled, "maybe your crush on Mina makes you see people like her. You're missing her aren't you?" He nudged Chaeyoung
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, "stop it. It's getting annoying."
Taehyung hummed, "if you say so."
They were heading to Chaeyoung's studio and to her surprise, the studio's lights were closed. Had she expected her friends to trespass in her studio when she was away. But her expectations were correct, she opened the studio and confettis were spread while people cheered. She opened her eyes and saw her friends smiling from ear to ear at her.
"Welcome back home!" They all greeted, Jungkook was in the middle with a cake. Turns out, he parked the car but he went to the cake shop to collect his order, a strawberry cake.
"Yeah no. I'd prefer my studio be clean as a welcome back party but it looks like it's not close to reality." Chaeyoung said as she roamed her eyes around her studio. Her things were still in place but the confettis were making her eyes hurt.
"I told all of you. Don't say I didn't." Yoongi laughed in the background while Jimin just pouted at him.
"Geez, I thought Chaeyoung was already a soft munchkin after she met a girl?" Irene asked.
Taehyung shrugged, "she's a soft munchkin around Mina, not around us. She's still shy to admit her small crush."
It gained whoops and yells from everyone inside which made Chaeyoung cover her ears.
"Shut up! I'm not crushing over Mina! Anyways, let's just eat the cake, I'm starving!" She commanded to change the topic, she immediately set up the table as Jungkook laid the cake down.
Everyone got slices of strawberry cake and some juice that Seulgi presented. Chaeyoung chewed on the cake and tasted heaven on her tongue, she really loves the flavor. It's her favorite since she was born, she looked around and saw her friends were also enjoying the cake and the moment—that Chaeyoung is back home. Chaeyoung can't help but feel content in her heart.
This is home.
