Chapter 13

Chaeyoung inhaled the fresh air that the trees were giving, patients like her also hung out in the garden and it's Chaeyoung's favorite part of the hospital. Because it's the only place where you won't see anything with white but with color green, she admires the nature.

Sana's eyes focused on her patient, she was still curious why Chaeyoung is still in the hospital though she chose to stay quiet, Chaeyoung sat on a bench and gestured for Sana to sit beside her, but she hesitated.

Chaeyoubng noticed her hesitance, she sighed, "come sit beside me, I won't bite." She shrugged and Sana awkwardly sat beside her.

Sana hummed an unfamiliar tune while Chaeyoung sat there beside her, who didn't even bother to open her mouth. Sana was about to talk and open a topic when a tall girl who wore a white coat approached them.

"Sana-ssi, I believe you should be busy inside the hospital, not outside." The girl said, Chaeyoung stared at the doctor then down to her name tag.

Sana stood up and bowed, "eh? But Dr. Chou, the director herself assigned me to Chaeyoung!" She countered and gestured to her patient who just stared at both of them while listening to their conversation.

Dr. Chou hummed, "is that so? I wasn't informed although I am your head department, I still should be informed." She remarked.

Sana bowed, "I'm sorry Dr. Chou, for not telling you, I thought they informed you first..."

Dr. Chou smiled slightly, "ah no, it's fine. Just do your duties and take care of your patient, I'll be in my office if you need me."

Chaeyoung gaped in awe, the girl didn't even acknowledge of her existence.

"Sana, who was that?" Chaeyoung asked.

Sana looked at her and her face suddenly brightened, "ah, it was Dr. Chou, my head department. Actually, I'm not a nurse, I'm an intern and I was assigned to tend to patients and the director assigned me to you." She smiled cheekily.

Chaeyoung just nodded and felt her phone vibrate.

Chaeyoung sighed and put her phone back in her pocket, that's when she remembered something. She faced Sana.

"Say, is someone named Myoui Mina working here? Maybe as a doctor or nurse? Or perhaps she's a patient?" Chaeyoung asked consecutively while Sana just stared at her in disbelief.

"So.. you look like you know her?" Chaeyoung asked again and that's when Sana snapped back to reality.

"Ah! Mina? She's a----" Sana's words were cut off when a deep voice called.

"Chaeyoungie!" Taehyung's voice called out. Chaeyoung could only facepalm and sigh to herself.

Such a good timing.

She sarcastically thought.

Chaeyoung stared at her not-so-related-brother, Taehyung, holding hands with his beloved lover, Jungkook. Soon she found Taehyung's eyes boring towards Sana and a glint of amusement was seen.

"She's the nurse you're talking about?" Taehyung asked. Chaeyoung nodded.

Sana stood up and bowed, "hello, I'm Minatozaki Sana. I'm assuming you're a friend?"

Taehyung nodded like a child, "yep, I'm Kim Taehyung!" He lent his hand and Sana grabbed it and shook their hands together.

"Damn, if I wasn't taken I would date you." Taehyung blurted out and Sana blushed, Jungkook who was at the back, cleared his throat in annoyance and tapped his foot on the ground while he crossed his arms.

Taehyung grinned cheekily and snaked his arms to Jungkook's waist, then kissed the latter's cheek. "But then again, I'm taken and I'm also gay for my boyfriend."

Jungkook cleared his throat again and glared at Sana. "I'm Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook. Taehyung's boyfriend." He introduced himself and didn't even bother to greet properly, also, he emphasized the word "boyfriend".

Sana giggled, "don't worry, I won't steal your boyfriend," she air-quoted, "I'm also gay."

Her information made Jungkook's face brighten, he automatically smiled and grabbed Sana's hand which startled her. He properly shook it, giving warmth to her hand.

"Well then, Sana. I'm Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you, is taking care of my sister-in-law hard? Is she giving you headaches? Tell me." Jungkook shook her hand while questioning her.

Chaeyoung sighed, "stop it, you're scaring her." She said and Jungkook let go. "Anyways, what's happening in the campus without me?"

Taehyung combed his hair with his fingers, "only if you knew." He sighed. "People are going bananas with the news that you're admitted in the hospital because of an accident. They miss Chaengcasso too much."

Sana gasped, "Chaengcasso?" She asked and Chaeyoung stared at her, causing her to stare back. "You're Chaengcasso?!" She asked.

Chaeyoung nodded slowly, "ah yeah. I am."

Sana grabbed her hand and held it dearly, close to her chest which made Chaeyoung uncomfortable.

"I love your art! I've always visited K-Multi-Arts Exhibits whenever I had the time, and yours are too extraordinary! Also, I'm friends with Dahyun!"

Taehyung gasped and his eyes were now familiar with Sana's face, "you mean, you're Sana?" Taehyung asked.

Sana's eyebrows furrowed, "uhm yes."

Taehyung grinned towards Jungkook and he got the message, both of them grinned towards each other.

Chaeyoung sighed, "can you two stop? You look like creeps. Anyways, I'm going inside, it's suddenly cold." Chaeyoung stood up and Sana followed her.

Taehyung and Jungkook just walked behind them, holding each other's hands.
