Mina hummed to the music that's being played inside the hospital, considering that this is a place for medicine, of course, the music is for soothing people's mind. It relieves stress and Mina absolutely loves it. After calling Chaeyoung, her mind seems to have been in ease again.
Earlier was their break time but it was only for 15 minutes, it was Mina who asked her colleagues to allow the three of them to have a two-hour break time.
It's not like Mina is a tardy doctor, in fact, she's not even a physician of any sort. She's just inside of the hospital, serving people in need because it was her late father's death wish. Mina walked towards her office, opening it and revealed a wooden table with papers on top and a golden plate placed on it with her name engraved on the very plate. She sat on the swivel chair, as she did, her eyes fell down on the set of picture frames she placed on her table. There were two pictures which she treasured dearly, one picture contained three persons while the other one had four in it. Mina doesn't know why she feels very relieved and content with seeing the picture with four persons. It was like her soul was deeply connected with it. She pulled a drawer and there was a hidden picture frame with a necklace with a penguin pendant on it, she grabbed the picture and stared at it before smiling so wide.
It was a picture of her, and her most valued treasure in her life. She did everything just to save this picture, she had many but this was the only picture that she had saved. Even though the picture made her smile, it also brought her the feeling of emptiness and sadness. She feels empty and sad that she forgot who the other girl was, she feels too guilty. What if this other girl is searching for her whilst she sat on this very chair, not even doing any single thing to search for the girl? Thoughts had always made her guilty. She brought it back inside the drawer and stared at the pictures, soon, her mind was drifting off to her memories.

Mina was alone that day and she was still 5-years old. Despite her being alone in this playground, she enjoyed watching kids her age playing around and smiling and laughing. It's not that she's not allowed to play but she just enjoys being the observant one, she enjoys observing humans. It was the only thing that made her feel secure.
But one day, one small girl caught her attention. While Mina was sitting on top of the unused slide, she saw a small girl sitting on the sandbox, alone. She contemplated whether she'll approach or not but she felt like someone pushed her and her legs started to walk on its own. She approached the small girl and crouched to match the girl's height level.
"What are you doing here, alone?" Mina asked in complete Korean. Considering they were in Korea, she tend to read books about Korean and little by little, she picks up the words she reads and now she's very capable of speaking the language.
The small girl sniffled, "no one wants to play with me."
Mina hummed, "why?"
The small girl looked up and stared at Mina, her eyes looked very sad, she looked very fragile. "No one wants to play with Rina." She repeated but this time, she used a name.
Mina thought it was her name, "why does no one want to play with little Rina?"
"Bwecause I can't run." Her small answer caught Mina's attention, she looked at the girl's legs and saw that it was in perfect condition. She had nothing about with her legs.
"Why can't you run?" Mina asked, now she sat in front of Rina, on the sandbox.
"I-I'm not.. allowed to." She sniffles, "Oppa says that I will die if I do."
Mina tilted her head, connecting with medicine terms, Mina somehow thought that Rina had a heart disease or what. It's just that she didn't knew.
"Then, you want to play with Mina?" Mina asked, smiling towards the little girl.
"But R-Rina can't run."
"Then we'll play without running." Mina said and grabbed Rina's hand.
"Really?" Rina asked, a tint of hope in her voice was heard and never Mina felt this way. She felt really happy to hear the little girl's hopeful voice.
"Yeah! I'll play with you!"
And with those words of Mina, small Rina smiled widely and Mina have never felt complete like that day.

Mina's reminiscing moment was paused when she heard someone knocking, she checked if the drawer was closed.
"Come in." She replied, after she did, the door opened and revealed a semi-tall girl with her hair cut like a boy's, she was wearing a white blouse and a black pencil skirt.
"Ah, Jeongyeon-Unnie, what can I help you with?" She greeted.
Jeongyeon smiled shyly and bowed, "no need to call me Unnie, Ms. Myoui."
"Ah, do you want coffee?" Mina asked and stood up, about to approach her coffee maker when Jeongyeon stopped her.
"Ah no. No need, Ma'am. But I'm here to inform you that the Director is calling for you."
Mina stopped and smiled lightly, "she is? It's been a long time since she did."
Jeongyeon smiled and nodded, "it is."
Jeongyeon lead the way while Mina professionally walked behind Jeongyeon, showing off her fierce gaze as she passed by some nurses and colleagues. She doesn't want anyone to see that she is weak in any form. When Jeongyeon stopped, Mina released a huge breathe. Jeongyeon opened the door and as the Director's secretary, she walked towards beside the Director while Mina slowly walked inside of the office, closing the door. She faced the black table, seeing two sofas were placed on either side of the black table and a glass table placed in the middle. As usual, a gold plate was placed on the table as a name was engraved on it.
She faced and stared back at the Director, seeing those familiar brown orbs like hers made her heart ache for more, sitting on a swivel chair the Director kept her posture as she glared at Mina. While Mina smiled lightly and bowed,
"It's been a while, one-san."
