Kita ni Rose kung paanong nakatanggap si Sir Dennis ng isang malutong na sampal mula kay Miss Bernadette Uy. Her manager.
Lumabas lamang si Sir Dennis pagkatapos mangyari iyun pero tandang-tanda niya kung paano siya nito binigyan ng isang masama at nagbabantang tingin.

Huminto ito saglit at umupo sa tabi ni Rose. “I’m sorry if you happen to experience this, Miss Rose. Nangyari na ito dati at hindi ko alam na gagawin pala ulit ni Dennis iyun. Glad you to told me immediately. Anyways, you can still work here. No need of resigning. I know you need this job.”
Rose nods while wiping her tears.
“Dennis will be around everyday but don’t get intimidated kasi nandito naman ako. You can rely with me. I’m sorry too if sampal at pagsigaw lang ang kaya kong gawin sa kanya.”
Rose looks at her.
“I mean, gustuhin ko man but we can’t sue him. His family has a lot of connections kaya wala ring magiging saysay ang pagsasampa ng kaso sa kanya.”
Rose knows this. This is reality.
Kung magsasampa siya ng kaso sa kanya, he’ll either escape from it through his money and connections or worse, baka bumaliktad pa ang lahat at siya pa ang makapagbayad at makulong.
“You said na lilipat na kayo ng boyfriend mo ng place, right?”
Rose nods again.
“I guess it’s better to do it immediately so that hindi ka na makakasakay pa sa kotse ng gagong Dennis na iyun.”
Rose suddenly remembers Aki. Gustuhin niya mang mag-resign but she can’t.
