*1 month later*
  I wake up to my alarm blaring in my ear and I flip over to find my 4 month old child but not my Fiancé. I look around the room and he's not there. I grab Ads and walk downstairs to find the keys and car gone. So he left at a time earlier than 8:00 in the morning for no reason?
  I start pacing, nervous. We just got through a huge fight over him being out when he's not supposed to with other girls. For all I know he has a side chick I don't know about. But this is the first time it's happened so maybe he just had to run out for something.
  I have to end up going upstairs to feed Adley and when I'm done I hear the front door open and hushed voices.
  First I hear Kian's "Shhh, Mady usually only sleeps until 8:00 but she was up later with Ads so she may still be asleep" okay so I know he's not stupid enough to bring a girl home while he knows I'm here.
Then I hear a girls voice, a familiar voice say "I know Kian I'm her bestfriend, I know what time she wakes up, what time she goes to sleep, what times she gets up with Adley, and how late she gets up after a long night which is not late at all because she still had to feed her daughter" I finally recognize the voice as my Bestfriend's and smile at her comeback. I tip my head back in the rocking chair and doze off.
  I wake up about 20 minutes later to my daughter whining. Apparently Kian heard her too on the monitor because I ran into him in her room.
  "Mads, I thought you were in bed babe"
  "I was this morning, and so was Adley, but you know who wasn't" at this point I'm teasing him, and he looks really worried. I hold back a smile and put on a stern look.
  "Look I'm sorry for not being in bed, but I have a feeling you'll be happy with the reason."
  I just look at him and he clears his throat and through the door comes my Bestfriend.
  "KARA!" I run over to her and hug her. She hugs me back and we stay like that for a minute until Kian clears his throat again then says, "I don't ever get a welcome like that" I pull away from Kara and slap him on the head, "that's cause I live with you idiot."
  "And cause you keep getting her pregnant" this time it came from Kara and she smacked him on the head.
  We laughed at his reaction then finally grabbed Adley out of her crib, I will admit I forgot that she was the initial problem. I pick her up and kiss her face and hug her, before resting her on my hip. We go downstairs to where Kian has made a huge breakfast of eggs, bacon, fruit, waffles, fresh squeezed orange juice and sausage.
We ate then got ready for the day. Kara and I have wedding and nursery planning to do. Kian has to go check on the suits for him and the boys.
Kian heads out 5 minutes before we do, parting with a kiss to both me and Adley. When he walks out the door Kara looks at me and she looks so excited.
"K, I'm excited about planning and everything too, but you seem overly excited" I chuckle at the end to let her know I was just joking.
  "Mady, I have something to tell you" I don't know why she's whispering but whatever.
  I nod signaling her to continue, "I'm think I'm pregnant again"
  My hands immediately fly to my face and I squeal. "KARA!"
  She nods her head and looks so happy, I'm so happy for her. I pull her in for a hug and whisper in her ear, "You are the best mom, you deserve this K"
  We hug for awhile then actually leave. I buckle Adley I to her car seat then get in my door.
*couple of hours later*
  We walk out of the bridal shop feeling relieved. I was so stressed before, having to worry about how my dress was still going to fit 5 months from now.
In the end it all worked out, even Kara's possible dress problem was dealt with.
We walk to the food court and get in line for Chinese. When we get in line, the person in front of us looks oddly familiar. I tap on their shoulder and they turn around, revealing my childhood best friend Grace.
"Grace?"
"Madelynn?"
I hug her awkwardly considering I was pushing the stroller.
"Oh my God Mady, I can't believe you have a child" she looks at me with disbelief. I add on, "and another in the way". Her hand flies to her mouth in shock. "Congrats! What's this little one's name"
"Her name is Adley, she is 4 months old."
  "Well she is just the cutest"
  *1 hour later*
  Grace ended up eating with us and we caught up in a lot. We made plans to hang out and catch up even more. As we walk out of the food court, Kara looks upset.
  "K, is something wrong" I reach my hand up and touch her shoulder.
  She walks away from my touch and it hurts me.
"K seriously, what's up?"
  "M seriously, nothings up"
She walks away and I can hear her huff out of anger. I'm not letting this go.
  "Kara, please tell me what's wrong, I don't know what happened or what I did if it was me"
  "Madelynn, I said nothing is wrong. Drop it" the last part of the sentence scares me because she gets so firm with me.
I reach over to comfort her and she climbs out of the car.
  "I'll Uber back to your house" she closes the door and walks away.
  I quickly look in the back seat to see where Adley is in her nap time. She is still wide awake, so I grab her and the keys and lock the car doors.
  "Kara Adams! Don't walk away from me!"
  She turns around and I can see the tears running down her face.
  I walk over to her and try to hug her and again, she rejects me. She wraps her arms around herself and backs away a couple of steps.
  "Madelynn, I told you to leave me alone"
"Kara, I told you to tell me what's wrong"
  I hate when she uses my full name.
  "You ran into your friend and..." her voice breaks off for a second followed by a few tiny sobs. I feel my heart break in two and tears start to form in my own eyes.
  "..and you talked to her, like how we used to. You talked about everything under the sun. I can't even remember the last time we did that"
  I shake my head, denying that she is saying all of this, she can't be, we are closer than ever right now.
  "What do you mean Kara? We are closer than ever right now. No we don't have talks like that often because you live on the other side of the country, but there isn't much we can do about that. I promise I wish we could just drive to see each other everyday and talk about everything under the sun. Which is why I was going to tell you. We are looking into a house in L.A"
  She stops for a second and looks at me with hope in her eyes.
  "We got the house and are moving in after the new baby is born."
  She runs to me and gives me a big hug, "please tell me that it's next door to mine Mady" she sounds so desperate which is why I feel so good telling her that yes it is the house next to hers.
