Wedding dresses are so expensive. So are venues, and decorations and just about anything to do with a wedding. For the past two weeks Kian and I have been so stressed out. With our baby and how she was sick for a minute, Kian hasn't been able to fly out to LA to film videos with Jc so I started to film so that the subscribers got their fill on Kian. We have somewhat become a family vlog channel and I kind of like it. I vlog when we go to the store and to play centers. Also when we are having a lazy day just to show what we do on a normal day. Today I have to go dress shopping for our wedding, considering that we have 7 months until our wedding. I have lost most of my baby weight and am feeling good in my own skin. I pick Adley up out of her crib and take her to the changing table. I lotion her up and change her diaper. Then continue to dress her in a Russian green long sleeve shirt with ruffles on the shoulders, floral print pants and hat to match. I carry her to my room and slip on a pair of leggings, a PINK long sleeve black and white tee, and my boots. I tie my hair into a bun and then slip on my coat and slip Adleys on her. Kian is picking up Bob, Jc and Corey from the airport so they can go suit shopping. Before we leave the house, Kian's car pulls up and all 4 guys spill out of it and come into the house. By now I have Adley in her seat and buckle up ready to take her out to the car. Jc walks in first and heads straight over to Adley. "Oh hey Jc I'm not standing here or anything" I sarcastically comment and laugh. He looks over at me and makes his way towards me. "Hey Mads" "Hey Jc" He heads to our guest room and then Bobby comes in. He comes straight to me and hugs me, then kisses Adley in the head and continues to walk upstairs. Corey does the same as Bob, then Kian walks through the door. I don't let him take off his shoes before I go to hug him. "Morning beautiful", he greets me, I smile as I wrap my arms around his neck and his wrap around my waist. He holds me tight for a few seconds then let's go. "So you going dress shopping today?" "Not necessarily, we are going to look at dresses and get ideas but I don't want to fully do it until Kara comes next week. It would be weird to dress shop without the Maid of Honor." "Very true, well you get going and I will see you at... 5? For dinner with the boys?" "Sure, at home or going out?" "Let's meet at that Applebee's that we go to a lot." I nod and peck him on the lips before picking up Adley's car seat. He leans down inside and kisses her forehead then says goodbye. The drive to my moms is slightly longer than usual due to the snow from last night. We finally pull into the driveway and I sit there for a moment letting everything settle in. I'm about to marry Kian Lawley, the love of my life, the father of my first child, and my whole world. I am going wedding dress shopping, well looking. It's all so crazy. And to add in to it my 3 month old child is in the backseat. I sigh and am content with my life. I unbuckle as get out. I rush to grab Ads and leave her car seat in the car. I walk quickly up to the door so that Adley won't be to cold. I knock on the door and my mother answers after a few seconds. "Come in honey, it's so cold out there" I step inside the doorway and am greeted by a sweet smell. "Mady, dear, come over here, I want to show you something I found for your wedding" My mother leads me to the guest bedroom with Adley in her arms. She opens the door and I hear someone yell "Surprise!" I see who it is and run over to her. "Surprise Madelynn, I found your Maid of Honor!" I laugh at my mom's comment and squeeze my bestfriend. I never realize how much I miss her until she is back here. "When did you arrive Kara?" "This morning, Kian picked me up along with the boys and dropped me off before he went home" I just smile. I can't believe she is here. I haven't seen her since Adley was born and I couldn't be happier. We make our way back downstairs and have a cup of coffee before we leave. Kara plays with Adley the whole time, reminding me of something g I've been meaning to ask her. "Kara?" "Mads?" "Will you be Adley's godmother?" "For real?" "Yes! I wouldn't trust any one else with our baby if something were to happen to Kian and I" "Of course I will Mads!" She stands up and comes over to me and squeezes me in a bone crushing hug. I giggle at the affection.

We walk out of the Bridal store and I am flustered. There is so much to think about but it's all so fun. We chose out the style and color of bridesmaids dresses we want, the maid of honor dress, and narrowed down a few wedding dress ideas. Kara practically drags me to the food court area with my mom and a surprisingly sleepy Adley following behind. We chose Chinese and scarf down the food. Decision making makes you hungry. We catch up a lot over lunch. We end up picking out an outfit for Adley for the wedding and grab a few random things that caught our eye. Today was so much fun, I can't believe that Kara is here and I may have found my dress. It's all too real. As we walk out of the mall, heading to my car, my phone vibrates.
