*1 week later* Mady's POV I wake and hear the rolling thunder. I look around and I don't recognize where I am. There's a mini fridge, a mini bar, and a sleeping Kian on the bed beside me. I stand up off the bed and look out the window. When I see the view I know just where I am. Good ol' NYC. I love it here. Now I remember everything. We are in New York for Playlist. I wasn't invited because I have only just started my channel, but Kian was allowed to bring me so, that's all good. I walk back over to the bed and look at Kian, he's so peaceful while asleep, if only it was like this all day. I climb onto the bed and lean over to shake Kian. "Mady?" He groans. "Morning sunshine" "Hmph" "Come on, I'm sure we have a full day ahead of us. I'm going to go take a shower and get ready. By time I'm done you need to be up and dressed. If you need to shower go to Bob's room right next door and shower there."
*1 hr later* I walk out of the bathroom, fully dressed in a back crop top, red cargo pant-jogger style pants, and black Doc Martens. I curled my hair lightly and put on some lift makeup. I walk over to my bad and spritz myself with my favorite perfume. I walk over to the door and as I go to put my hand on the knob to open the door, I am greeted by Kian standing there in a distressed Guns and Roses shirt, distressed jean jacket, black jeans and white low top converse. I smile, which caused Kian to also smile. I tell him to hold on a second and I went to grab my phone and my purse do we could leave. When I returned he put his arm out past him, indicating that I should walk past him. He closed the door and follows behind me to the elevator. We walk out of the elevator and start walking to the area that Kian and Jc's meet and greet is at. We got stuck in a bit of a crowd,and when I looked over at Kian he looked super nervous. So I held his hand and rubbed my thumb against his pointer finger. He looked down at me and gave me the sweetest smile them turned his head again and looked around. We got into the meet and greet area and I got split up from Kian and ended up finding Bobby. I talked to him for a bit then found my way over to the meet and greet spot and stood behind the camera with the cameraman and watched Kian interact with the fans. He adores them all so much, it warms my heart to think about how he would be with his own children. After the meet and greet we head to the room to look at the plan for the rest of the day. When we got ahold of the schedule it said we didn't have anything else to do today. So Kian and I decided we would walk around the city and explore. We took a couple pictures for Mady and grabbed a bite to eat. Eventually it is 5:00 and it is starting to get chilly out. We decide to walk back to the hotel, since we aren't that far.
Kian's POV I look over and Mady looks like she is freezing to death. I mean I would to if I was wear it what he was. I took my jacket off and handed it over to her. She looked at me it's a questioning face and I nodded my head. Mady shrugged on the jacket and when it was on, it engulfed her. We eventually made it back to the hotel and we decided to watch movies and order room service.
Mady's POV We woke up this morning and realized it was our last day in NYC. I am sad but it will feel good to go home. Like home home. Like Iowa, home. I get up and take a shower and put on leggings and a sweatshirt, one of Kian's that I stole. I sit back down on the bed and turn on the tv. I order breakfast and wait for it to come. Eventually I hear a knock on the door and grab my food from the person and thank them. I sit back down on the bed and hear Kian groan next to me. "Mady?" "Kian" "What is that delicious smell?" "Oh just eggs, Canadian sausage, toast, fruit and french toast" "You don't like french toast.." he replies while rubbing his eyes and sitting up. He looks over at me and I start to giggle. "I know,it's not for me" "Who is it for?" "Who do you think?" "Meee?" "Yes you idiot" "Yay!" Kian's face lit up like a Christmas tree when I told him that. I giggled some more and then handed him his plate. I'm dead serious when I say that Kian scarfed down his food.
Kian's POV Mady and I sat on our bed for a good hour or two before we had to get on our flight. When it came to an hour before we had to get on our plane, I got up and went to put on my shirts. I put a white t-shirt on and was searching for my hoodie. Mady was in the bathroom and I had a sneaking suspicion that she was wearing my hoodie. "Hey Mads?" "Yes?" "Are you by chance wearing my hoodie" She peaks her head out the door and a slight smile on her face. "Maybe just a little bit..." "How are you wearing my hoodie just a little bit?" "Well maybe a lotta bit" she giggled. "It's okay I will just wear my jacket" "Love ya much Kian" "Love ya more Mads" I slip on my jacket and zip up my suitcase. I put my laptop, it's charger, my phone charger and any other necessities in my carry on and put my stuff by the door. I did the same with Mady's stuff because I know what she needs and all that. When she was done in the bathroom, no make up, hair in a bun, looking flawless as ever, we were ready to go. She pulled the handle up on her suitcase and walked out the door and waited for me. We walked down the hallway together and down to the Uber. When we arrived at the airport I got out of the Uber and grabbed mine and Mady's suitcases and my carry on and head to the check in. After everything was done we eventually made it to hate that we need to be at and wait till they call our plane. When they call it, we grab our carry one and head to the plane. As soon as we sit down, Mady already has her headphones in and is close to napping. She's so peaceful while sleeping, I'm so lucky to have her as my Bestfriend, god I love her so much. I take one more glance towards her and then nod off to sleep myself. —————————//—————————-
