~Ellie's POV~

A few weeks after the incident, I was completely healed, Toshinori's wounds had healed as well but he still couldn't use One for All or transform into his muscular form for longer than a few seconds at a time. I woke up early Saturday morning, Toshinori was sound asleep next to me with his arms wrapped securely around me. After the incident he couldn't fall asleep unless he was holding me in his arms. Though it was through no fault of his own, he felt guilty that I'd been captured by the villains. I could see it in the desolate look in his eyes; he felt as if he'd let me down somehow.

I wriggled out of his arms careful not to wake him and skipped to the bathroom to take a bubble bath with my growing rubber ducky collection. A lot of the students had brought me rubber ducks while I was in the hospital. As I stepped past the mirror above our his and hers sinks, I paused as I caught sight of my reflection. My gaze flicked downward to my bare midriff, the smallest teeniest little bit of a bump had started to form and was just barely showing. I placed my hand over my growing belly and smiled. I was going to yell for Toshinori, but thought better about it, he needed to sleep.

The doctor said the baby could hear us now. At our last appointment we found out we were having a boy, Toshinori rushed home and finished the nursery that day. Once he'd finished painting and rearranging things where I wanted them, he suggested we go shopping. He was so excited.

I drew a bath and filled it with calming lavender bubble bath mix, thanks to all the pregnancy hormones I was getting bouts of anxiety that were causing my blood pressure to go crazy. After lining up my little army of All Might ducks along the ledge of the bath, I reached over to press the button to activate the jacuzzi jets. The parasite inside of me seemed to have awoken as I could feel it moving around and I couldn't help but smile.

A hand dropped atop my head, startling me and nearly causing me to fall into the jacuzzi. Toshinori's arm wound around me keeping me from falling and he chuckled softly, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

I jumped to my feet, "You're awake! Look!" I pointed to the tiny bump on my belly.

He looked to me curiously, "What am I looking at?"

"There's a baby bump." I poked at my tummy.

"Hm, I might need a closer look, I don't see anything yet." He knelt before me so his face was closer to my tummy.

I giggled as he kissed my bare stomach and attempted to swat him away, "What are you doing?"

"I don't see a bump, still looks like Ellie's normal flat belly to me." He smiled as he kissed my tummy again. His lips pressed against the small bump and he drew back, his eyes growing wide, "I felt the baby kick."

"He probably thought you were being weird too." I huffed only to let out a squeal of laughter as Toshinori wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer so he could press his ear against my tiny baby bump. "Now what are you doing, Toshi-chan?"

"Just listening." He beamed before his gaze fell on the army of ducks along the ledge of the bath, "How many ducks do you have?" he chuckled.

"What makes you think I have a calculated total of my ducks?" I frowned.

He poked me lightly in the side, "How many ducks?"

"I don't know, like 87...."

"That seems like an excessive amount of ducks." Toshinori laughed at this and my cheeks reddened.

"Eli, shock Daddy." I grumbled and Toshinori yelped as he was zapped with a tiny beam of electrical energy. I couldn't help but giggle as Toshinori looked between me and my tiny bump with a look of astonishment. "Muwhahaha, I have the power!"
