Chapter 24: Chief toad, Gamabunta!

Next Day

Naruto was bored. He was walking around the village nonchalantly as people glare at him. People spread like butt cheeks by just him walking down the road. Jiraiya was nowhere to be seen as well. 

'Where's pervy sage...I haven’t seen him at the river or the hot springs....' Naruto thought. Normally you would think that old man would be peeking at woman. Maybe at the hot springs, at the river, at a club. But nope! He was nowhere to be seen. Naruto wipe the old man out his mind, and went on with his day. He had to train for this, just to be sure.

Naruto was sitting on tip of the bridge where team 7 usually meets up. He was taking in the view, ideas and other thoughts zooming in his head. He had just finish practicing his hand on hand combat alone. Hinata was "stalking" him again. 

'She should really just watch me in the open. It's not like I'm going to bite her....' Naruto sighed. Hinata had recovered after a week when she was defeated. "Hinata you can come out now" Naruto finally said. Hinata who was hiding behind a tree jumped. She looked around as if to see how he noticed her. 

'What....? How did he know I was here?' Hinata thought. She then went bright red. She stepped from the tree and walked shyly towards Naruto. Naruto gave her a warm smile and pat the spot beside him. She slowly walked with her bright red face looking down. "Hinata look at this view. It's really pretty isn't it?" Naruto said looking ahead. Hinata sat down next to him and looked up. She took in the view and a small smile crept onto her face. "Yes...." she mumbled. The two sat there for a few minutes in silent, taking in the nature around them. Naruto jumped off the beam and dusted himself off. 

"Well, I'm off. See ya Hinata" Naruto smiled. Hinata nodded her head. Naruto was now going to the River.

River

"What do you know....Pervy Sage stalking girls again" Naruto said as he saw Jiraiya behind a bush. Naruto went behind him. He squatted down and poked the old man. Jiraiya jumped and slowly turned around. Naruto smiled and waved at him. But that smile quickly became a scowl.

"Old man! where the hell you've been?" Naruto questioned with one eyebrow raised up. Jiraiya sat back and rubbed the back of his neck. "Let's just say I've been researching my passion"

"Passion huh...So basically you're saying you were getting it on and then peeking at woman. " Naruto said. He rubbed his face. "....You have a secret more secret spot to peek don’t you?" Jiraiya grinned. "Aren't you a smart one? Of course I do kid" Jiraiya continued "I wouldn’t just blindly show you my treasure for you to ruin it."  Naruto sighed. "Fine...so are we going to train?"

Jiraiya stood up wiping dirt behind him.  "Yeah. I have some plans." Naruto eyes lit up and a small smile formed. "What's it going to be?" he asked. "We're still going to continue the summoning lesson. I want to see if you to summon a certain someone." Jiraiya answered. Naruto nodded. 

The Cliff

Jiraiya led Naruto to a place with a cliff next to it. 'Don't tell me I have to summon next to this cliff...I have a bad feeling about this' Naruto thought. "Alright kid. I need you to gather all the chakra you can. Because this person you're going to summon needs it" Jiraiya explained. Naruto nodded. Jiraiya continued. "But here the catch. You're going to have to jump off that cliff and summon him." Jiraiya smirked. 'I knew it....' Naruto sighed 'Old man is really trying to get rid of me"

"Alright Pervy sage. I'll accept your challenge." Naruto confidently said. He walked toward the cliff. He turned around to face the old man and gave him a huge grin. He then jumped off. The cliff was dark and seems like it would swallow you whole. The sides had spikes which will kill you instantly if you landed on to them. As Naruto falls the wind current will occasionally hit him. Naruto had to take slow breathe so it wouldn't knock the life out of him. Naruto was surprisingly calm when he just jumped off a cliff.
