It was an early morning. Jung Hoseok just woke up and was standing by his window, looking out into the neighborhood as the sun began to peak out from the buildings. He glanced over and read the clock, 5:00 a.m. His one-room apartment was still fairly dark, soft blue darkness was all that covered the contents of his room. Hoseok was used to getting up at ungodly hours in the morning for classes but since he didn't have any this day he decided he would get some coffee.
Hoseok grabbed a sweatshirt, ran his hands through his hair, grabbed train money and went on his way out the door.
It was 5:45 by the time he got to his favorite café, it served bubble tea, iced coffee, hot coffee and of course a cute assortment of pastries. The place itself was fairly bright as the sun had just begun to rise, Hoseok ordered a black coffee and found himself a spot by the large window. The reason he would be willing to take a near hour train ride to this café, in particular, was because it had a spectacular view of the beach from its windows. He could watch the sun rise and set, watch people walk past, he could watch life happen all from one chair and a cup of iced coffee in hand.
He sometimes went there to write music, or to do homework, or to simply just sit and enjoy the view. He liked how he was never bothered, how the soft pop music played in the background of his thoughts, how there was an insanely cute man that showed up there every morning at 6:00 a. m. to order a caramel macchiato and sit in the corner opposite him. Hoseok always caught him staring at the sea, the birds that flew over it, the suns reflection in the water. He would stare for a few minutes and then get to his notepad and write down words for a few more minutes until repeating the process until he's done with his coffee. Sometimes, if he was lucky, Hoseok would even make brief eye contact with the man, even a smile until his bangs fell in front of his eyes and he walked away, smiling a little.
Hoseok counted the seconds until he heard the modern bell chime as a new customer walked in. He wore gold wire glasses, a grey overcoat, black turtleneck, slacks and a pair of fashionable white tennis shoes. He swore the guy looked like he was spat out of a kdrama or something. The outfit complimented his dark hair very well.
He observed as the man placed his usual order, but instead of just a macchiato, he got a croissant as well. He waddled over to his usual spot and began to eat. Hoseok was, in fact, mesmerized. An upbeat song began to play, Hoseok immediately recognized it as TWICE's What Is Love? He began to think at this moment if this was love. His gaze at the man broke once he looked up. He smiled shyly and looked down at his lap. The morning sun flooded through the window and to his face. Hoseok could see how it made his eyes a beautiful golden brown, his skin shined like a precious gem, his lips seemed a delicious shade of pink, his black hair fell over his delicate eyes and Hoseok wanted nothing more but to call this angel on earth his.

He's doing it again...Yoongi thought. The handsome man that showed up every morning before him in a hoodie and sweats. It was such a simple look but it made him swoon.
He couldn't help but smile to himself when he felt his eyes on him again, as usual. He stared at the ocean, he watched as the sun rose over it and caused the skies color to catch on fire as it went from deep purple to pink to gold. He knew that he couldn't stare at the ocean forever. He stole a glance to the other and saw the sunlight hitting the boy just right to make him appear like a god. His skin was like honey, his hair fell in messy curls over his eyes, Yoongi swore his eyes sparkled. The two made eye contact and Yoongi's gaze fell down to his almost finished croissant.
He wished to badly to speak with the man that he has been coming to his cafe for two months just to gawk at. One day... one day.
He looked up after hearing the sound of footsteps approach him. He was met with the God-man. Cue his internal screaming.
The world seemed like it had frozen completely and they were the only people on earth, despite the now crowded coffee shop. The boy extended his hand and smiled brightly,
"Good morning, I'm Hoseok." He said. Hoseok, Hoseok.... such a handsome name... Yoongi thought to himself.
"I'm Min Yoongi." he shook his hand, it was warm and soft. Hoseok motioned to the empty chair in front of him and asked him if it was okay for him to sit. Yoongi honestly felt like he was in a dream but said yes without hesitation.
The two talked for minutes which turned into hours. They both looked out to the beach, watched the suns reflection dance on the water, the waves crash into each other, they watched the world move around them, the sound of soft pop music and clinging glasses surrounded them and their hands appeared to inch closer and closer until Hoseok's soft, slender hands were held by Yoongi's large, cold hands.
"The sea is beautiful" Yoongi sighed, smiling softly.
"Yeah..sure is." Hoseok rested his chin on his hand and watched the boy dreamily as he stared into the water as he always had.
