     "Seok-seok ah!"

     "Seok-ah!"

"Jung Hoseok get your ass in here or you won't have one!"

The sound of footsteps echoed through the house loudly, as if a troll were running down the hall at mad speed and into the kitchen.

"Yes, mother?" he asked, out of breath.

"What did I tell you about leaving your games on? I came in here to have tea and I had the soul scared out of me by your foolish zombie game!" His mother scolded. Hoseok put his head down and smiled awkwardly.

"I'm sorry, last night was a bit of a mess for me- no, I have no excuse I'll take it out now." Hoseok rushed over and put up his video game. His mother smiled softly, patted him on the back and walked back into the kitchen.

Hoseok huffed, "What's so scary about zombies? It's not like they're real or anything and if they were, I'd kick their undead asses!" Hoseok swung a punch in the air, defeating his invisible opponent.

"Aigoo, you're such a dork" a voice chuckled. Hoseok's face grew red and he turned around to see his best friend Namjoon laughing.

"Leave me be, nerd." He laughed.

"Wanna go to the mall? It won't take long I just have something to get." Namjoon asked, already preparing to leave.

     "Do I have a choice?"

     "Nope" Namjoon chuckled.

The boys called a taxi and were on their way to the nearby mall. It wasn't huge but big enough for there to be crowds.

"Imagine if zombies were real" Hoseok said, not looking up from his phone.

Namjoon sighed, "You seriously need to stop playing those video games, they'll get to your head."

"No, seriously, I bet I would beat the shit out of them, just watch, then all the hot guys and chicks would be sooo into me!" Hoseok beamed. Namjoon couldn't help but laugh out of fondness for his friend. They've been friends since middle school and Namjoon really would take a bullet for his best friend.

"I'd like to see you try" Namjoon chortled.

"How about you, Mr. IQ of 148? What are you gonna do? Bore them to death with your brain?"

"Haha, very funny-" Namjoon stopped talking when the cab stopped suddenly (I'm American I'm sorry-Kubo).

"Thank you, sir!" Namjoon payed the driver and he and Hoseok got out.

"How does this look?" Namjoon asked.

Hoseok ripped his attention from the bags and looked to Namjoon, who was dressed in a blue button up and some black slacks. He had his converse on under them which made his outfit look a bit silly and childish, Hoseok had to admit.

"I love it! You look so handsome! How did I get so lucky to have a handsome best friend like you, Joonie?" Hoseok awed.

Namjoon blushed furiously. "Ah, shut up, let's go and get something to eat. You have all you want?" he asked.

Hoseok held up a bag from things he had already purchased, "ready to go!"

After Namjoon payed, the boys went to the food court and ate noodles. They made small talk and the classic Hoseok complaining about being single until there was a loud ruccus heard from the other side of the mall.
