Annika went to her room and just lied down thinking about her mother's sudden decision. She never ever wanted to get married in her life.According to her the word marriage is only a token to betray someone and the relationship of loving someone is only for lust.Her life was only filled with her small family and she never even dreamt of getting into a relationship and now her own mother forcing her to do so was making her more sad. Thinking all this tears brimmed her eyes.She was not even able to share this to anyone as gauri had left to visit her parents that morning.She was thinking all this when karunya entered the room...

K-annika...you can leave to college today ,they had an important commitment so they've decided to visit us tomorrow.

A-kyun aisa kar rahi ho mummy(getting up from the bed)

K-its for your good annika ,trust me(caressing her head)

A-(jolting away from her hold)no mummy ,I can't .I won't marry anyone.

K-annika(angry) don't you understand ,already your sister has hurted us a lot and now you're being another burden for me...(she said it wantedly)

A-kya ...(devastated)kya kaha tumne?Bahut buri ho tum mummy(she said this and ran out crying more)

Annika also knew that her mother was doing all this wantedly to make her agree for marriage ,so she didn't converse anything more...

In college

Shivaay noticed annika's behaviour from morning ,he knew that something was really troubling her .He asked her about it but she didn't tell anything to him.After the classes when she was about to leave he followed her along the corridor and tried to speak to her...

S-annika kya huwa aapko?koi problem...(cutted by her)

A-what's your problem shivaay,why are you troubling me?(shouting)Can't you understand...I'm your friend that doesn't mean ,I've to share everything with you .Don't take advantage and just stay in your limits,Did you understand, just go...

She left from there leaving a downhearted shivaay.He was more disturbed as she still didn't consider him as her friend with whom she could share her problems .On the other side annika was walking being lost in her own thoughts ,she missed her bus so she was moving towards the bus stand .She was totally engrossed in her thoughts such that she didn't notice a lorry approaching fastly behind her ,but shivaay who was standing near the college gate saw this and immediately called out her name but annika was very far from there so she didn't hear it.Shivaay instantly ran towards her and when he reached near the road divider ...

S-annika....(shouted)

Just now,annika looked at him being confused .He signalled her look back and instantly her eyes widened in shock when she witnessed the lorry behind her .She just stood rooted being shocked but suddenly she felt herself being pulled by someone .And when she opened her eyes she saw shivaay tightly hugging her ,and due to sudden imbalance they both slipped and fell down .She was completely lying on him while he caught hold of her tightly to such an extent such that she was clearly aware how sacred he was ,adding to it his heartbeat deliberately spoke out his condition .Slowly they both realised their position and moved away still sitting on the divider.
