Two days have passed since shivaay had gained conscious and all the family members were extremely happy and thankful to God for keeping their son safe. He was yet to be discharged ,so annika and pinky were staying with him at the hospital all these days .
At present annika was scolding and feeding a grumpy shivaay who hated the tasteless food provided in hospital.
S- annika plss ,salt bhi nahi hai isme .Plss (he pleaded cutely )
A- tum na ,mummy is the right person who could deal with you .Wait
She then asked pinky to feed him stating that he's too stubborn. Pinky started dumping big big morsels into his mouth making him glare annika who was smiling witnessing his helpless condition.
P- haa beta last ,see it's the last. (Indicating the plate )
S- nahi mom .It's worst ,I can't. (turning all sides )
P- You have to ,yelo ...ye aaa (and she somehow pushed the last morsel inside his mouth ).Hogaya ,how much we have to struggle haan ?
S- try one plate of it then you will know my difficulty (he murmured to himself )
P- did you say something?
S- kuch nahi (smiling widely )
P- annika ,tum iske saath raho .I've to leave to OM ,kuch kaam hai muje.I'll bring your clothes while returning haan ?
A- ok ,mummy .
S- oh my God! annika ,(realizing something)
A- what happened shivaay ?
S- kal aapki exam haina?
A- haan ,so what ?I ain't going to attend it .
S- matlab ?what are you saying annika ?
A- how can I leave you here and go for the exams .I won't be able to concentrate even .I'll just clear the papers next year with you .
S- aap galat kar rahe hain annika .Why do you have to waste a semester for this .I'm totally fine right,then what's the problem now ?Just go and do well ,plss.
A- par shivaay (interrupted)
S- mere liye ?
She just silently stared at him for a minute and gave a lengthened smile with a nod indicating her acceptance.
Evening
Annika was present in the ward with him ,seated at the cornered couch she was preparing for tomorrow's exam.While he ,on the other side played a silent observer .Registering her each and every tiny actions,he could do nothing but just smile when there was a knock .It was Karunya
