"So..."
She says breaking the silence.
"I really don't want to have this conversation."
"Keith, you can't hide it. It's already becoming pretty obvious."
"Wow, thanks."
"I'm not trying to offend you. Pregnancy is natural."
I scoff.
"Maybe to you."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm from earth. On earth guy's don't get pregnant."
"Oh."
She says blinking.
"Well, I'm sure the father would understand."
"Definitely not."
"Why? We're all used to it."
"He's human."
At this her eyebrows raise.
"As in-"
"Yes, Allura! For gods sake I slept with Lance!"
She sits silently processing my outburst.
"So, what? You gonna tell me that I made a stupid decision?"
She shakes her head.
"No. I think you picked a good mate. He would make a great father and he always sneaks looks at you when he thinks no one's looking. It's blatantly obvious though. In general it's kind of sad."
